Call me crazy, but perhaps this thread should be split into separate threads; one for Japanese cars and one for European cars. European cars are technically imports (itself a vague term, geographically speaking), but the term 'import,' to me, at least for the last solid decade, has meant cars from Japan. Judging by the first 50% of this thread, that was the original author's intent too. Just a thought. I just get a little confused when I see a period BMW 2002 race car next to a hella flush S15 silvia.

I understand what you mean, but I just don't see that happening since there have been attempts to separate the thread which all end with this thread either being much more popular or just never split. This thread has been going for a long time and I think the only way would be tif it is renamed and left as is and then another one for euro cars opens, which even though i would be perfectly fine with I just don't see heppening.

I've always thought of this thread as the modified cars thread now-a-days more so than just "imports" (since every car is an import technically to one member or another). A lot of these pics though, could go in the Sexy & Mean car thread, but that's just my opinion.

Sounds like a personal problem. I enjoy seeing a 2002 race car just as much as I like a hellaflush S15. They're still modified cars, just modded with different styles.

Approximately 60% of the Sexy and Mean thread is neither sexy nor mean. Most of them are ugly exotics or tuned imports/race cars which belong in this thread.

The fact that the terms "sexy" and "mean" are so much more vague than the term "imports," not to mention totally subjective, really goes against that.

There have been so many times I haven't posted something here because it was an American car or it was on two wheels and not four, that everyone here would really appreciate, because it wasn't an "import." Yes I'm aware I just did that but it was too awesome to leave out Because of this, allot of good stuff is being filtered. The "Dope ****zzz!" thread on Club Roadster that I often visit is totally open although, being mainly an automotive community, you get mainly automotive related-posts. The same would happen here. It's a much better Idea than having multiple threads with the same group of members visiting them.

Moderators should definitely considering changing the name. Assuming we get the votes, that is.

I think that C63 would be perfect with meatier tyres and smaller rims 👍
