My best laps without the draft are 38.1s. I need to figure out why I'm not handling good enough. I'm really scrubbing off speed in the turns way more than before the update.

I'm always up for some practice runs, but I checked the time zones and if I understand correctly, it's EST (New York) to CET (Amsterdam). That would mean 9 pm EST would be 3 am CET. I would turn right every time. :odd:

Short summary of the times posted:

TDZ-4-12-14-88 - 37,3xx
D3ATHS1NBUNCH3S - 37,6xx
jam_my21 - 37,8xx
cnd01 - 38,1xx
Cobani - 38,1xx

I think anyone as far out as 38.5 could win, providing their top gear ratio allows them to draft up and pass without hitting the limiter,

I wouldn't mind driving in this race.

awesome mate, only 2 positions left to fill now, but 14 driver's is still plenty for a race this long,

I can't 100% confirm just yet, however, it's looking more and more likely that I will be able to drive the pace car on the 30th. I have a work schedule up until mid-December and so far I am off on the 30th.

Is it too late to sign up for this? I'd love to race :dopey:

I'd recommend a couple of shorter practice races sometime before the actual event. Just to make sure everyone understands everything and knows what they're doing. You don't want any confusion during the actual event.

Yes! 👍

That is what speed week is for, for all people to qualify and get some final testing in and receive some pointer's,

I need more details. Dates and times please. I won't be needed for qualifying but I'd like to be present anyway.

Speed weeks start this coming Sunday, people get to qualify when they are available,

and if its all right wit you peel I might get you to qualify people when I'm not available,

QUALIFYING DETAILS!!!

1, everyone gets 3 opportunities at qualifying,
2, when people qualify the room will be set to rolling start,
3, room will be set to 4 laps,
4, fastest laps will not be worried about,
5, the overall time at the end of the 4 laps will be required for me to calculate your qualifying position,

any questions ask,

Quali done by one driver at time? Steward (you or pleel) watching the run and report the overall time to you with PM?

Correct mate, its an idea I stole,, that way no pelicans can come in to the room while your qualifying and jump on track,

You know what TDZ the race start may be to early for me to get home in time from work. On Fridays I get home around 6pm PST. I will try to work out something at the office to get home in time. If the race start runs late just keep the op updated so I know if I still have a chance to make it. Thankz!

I'm certainly ready for this race. I hope it fits my ever-changing schedule.

polar said he was postponing the conti series so he could do this,

My schedule has changed and I cannot make it. Sorry fellas.

that sucks mate,

I'm busy all of that week except for Wednesday and obviously Friday. It would be good if we could organize a day for the majority of people to qualify and then whoever can't make that day could get a back-up day. (I'm thinking main day Sunday with you and back-up day Wednesday with me.) Honestly, I think the easiest way would just to have qualifying right before the race. Of course, it's completely up to you.

I would do that but that would take forever for each person to do 4 laps, unless I let it happen over 10 minutes with all cars on track, which would be easiest, but then results won't be true, but the race is very long,

Hey, what's the latest this race could start? I usually get home around 6pm which is 2 hours after your posted start time?

9:30PM EST anyone?

The OP says race start to be 7 pm EST, which would be 01:00 AM my time (GMT+1). Doable. :)

But to go to 9.30 pm EST, it would become 03:30 AM as a start time. I cannot blend that in with real life, sorry. :indiff:

I will check the official start time when you post it Dave and decide then wether I can make it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong with the numbers! 👍:dunce:👍
