Sorry Tom I've been busy with seeking out employment on a racing team for the coming season.

Good news, I'm moving out of the country and into town tomorrow and will be getting legitimate internet set up very soon.

As for moving the time forward an hour i would not be able to make that as some fridays i dont get off work until then

That's good news mate, any luck on the racing team?

I'll keep it the same then 👍

EDIT: Even half an hour forward? So 23:30 race start, any time I can save is good. But if you can't make it, no worries.

I really am having problems working out a time here, I can't please everyone at the end of the day but i'm trying.

Late nights are a problem for me, not because I can't stay up, but because my wheel and TV will wake and annoy my parents at midnight and I can't take my PS3 downstairs every Friday to play in the lounge because there's no way to wire up my PS3 to the router that way.

Saturdays=TOCA, Some guys have NASCAR
Sundays=Nationwide
Weekdays=Too early for the US

Unless I ran it during the day on a Saturday which would mean mid afternoon racing for US and UK? Around 1600GMT/1200 Eastern.

I think that's a better idea, because although the Friday night slot favours any US drivers it alienates the majority of UK drivers who don't want to be on GT5 at 1am, such as me.

That would mean I couldn't race because of Karts...

With all things considered I think the current time and day will end up being best. I would not be able to do a full season if we raced Saturdays. Earlier times would leave out US drivers, so unless we tried to do 2 leagues again Friday nights seem to be the best option for most. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Fine LV 👍 Couple of options...

-Quali 22:30, race 23:00 (works best for me, can you make this?)

-Quali 23:00, race 23:30

All times GMT.

You get off at 6, so you'll be home even later? :nervous:

Oh god, this is going to be impossible.

Sorry I made a mistake 23:00 is 6 my time so I could make qualifying if we started then and someone else hosts.

I'd be hosting 👍

I'd probably open the room at 22:30, qualify for 15 minutes at 23:00 and then start the race at 23:15GMT? That's actually not as bad for me :)

I could only make it if the race started at 23:30. I get off at 6, it would take me about 10-15 mins to get home depending on what lights I catch, and probably about 10 mins to get my wheel setup and get in the lounge.

23:30 it is then for race start.

I would like to race this.. but only one concern.. Are they as hard to control as they would be in the FGT series in A-Spec or does power limit help? 👍

They are easier to tame with less power and anyhow, certain driver aids are allowed if you need a hand 👍

It's not the wheelspin that's my problem either, its just when you go into a corner with no accelarator or brake and the back kicks out which boggles me about them.. :lol:

Yeah I know what you mean, the wheelspin isn't the issue :P You get used to driving them although it's a bit tricky at first.

Can't handle them at all atm.. maybe if i practice enough it might get easier :) power limit should help too :)

Downforce and setup adjustments will sort this out. One of the things I really like about the FGT is how you can't take one setup and make it work for every track. You need to make tweaks here and there to get it dialed in for whatever circuit your on, just like you would to a car in real life.

I can't set it up though. May need help. :nervous:

There's plenty of FGT tunes knocking around on GTP, just gotta search for them and tweak them for each track 👍

They only help slightly.. Anyway, got a nice long empty day ahead for testing tomorrow:)

EDIT: actually, I have two races:/

So sitrep.

My laptop came back from repair at Currys today and they'd fixed the hinge after three weeks of holding onto it. Then I turned it on and discovered they'd severed the cable the mouse/touchpad so I had to take it back again. Seriously who the 🤬 doesn't test a product before delivering it back to a customer!?

It won't be back till around the end of next week, and if it isn't we get a new laptop. So the thread won't be up until the last week of December or even new year. Sorry chaps 👎

It's okay mate, there's no rush and i've still got a few things to finish off 👍

Alright sound:) just realised it wouldn't work anyway:/
