The green S13 is just Iketani's car. I did see the 350Z, there's also an NSX and it looks like Takumi will be racing against an MR-S.

BTW Ryosuke's car was confirmed by the number plate, they match.

I'm looking forward to the battle between the FC and R32 as well. I reckon that inspiration for Ryosuke's upgraded FC was taken from the movie Speed Master (see below).

Also I was expecting more from the battle between the FD and the Evo 7. Hopefully the AE86 vs MX-5 will be more substantial.

The first DVD comes out in January, may have english subs.

If you are waiting for an English translation, might be a couple years.

Initial D Fifth Stage was officially confirmed on August 6th, 2012 by Perfect Choice TV. Animax has decided to air episode 1 of Fifth Stage on Sunday, 8:00pm November 4th, 2012 (UTC+09:00) as a preview. The official air date for Fifth Stage Episode 1 - 2 is confirmed to be on Friday 4:00am November 9th, 2012 (UTC+09:00) (second Friday of the month). And there will be two new episodes every month. The theme song "Raise Up" will be by M.O.V.E as usual. The episodes will be aired on Animax's PPV program for 840 Yen each viewing (two episodes). The DVDs will be released some time after the broadcast ends.

Episode 1 - 2: Friday 4:00am November 9th, 2012 (UTC+09:00) [currently airing]
Episode 3 - 4: Friday 4:00am December 14th, 2012 (UTC+09:00)

Just noticed something else when watching opening scene. Keisuke's RX7 have yellow bonnet at the start but by the end it has a carbon bonnet. And he looks to be racing Takumi. Final battle?

I noticed a levin but couldn't tell If it was itsuki or wataru's

Also there is a quick flash of a white notch back trueno !!

And Takumi looks to be racing some white car.

^ The Auto Modelista scene is when KT and TF raced each other in Akina back in 1st Stage (a flashback of their battle). As you noticed the KT's FD had its Red Suns insignia, while TF's AE86 still had its stock bonnet.

-> TF & KT battle? Unlikely...at the moment.

^ It was Itsuki's Speedstars Levin Turbo. Watatu's S/C Levin doesn't come with a grille and had a flushed rear wing.

I noticed that too but that's not what im talking about. You can see the yellow bonnet even when he's racing other apponants. At some point they change the bonnet.

Ah yes so he does I missed that he also has the black bonnet in the preview of him racing the red NSX, so I'm guessing he will get it fitted before that race then. I also agree with you on I think there will be a final battle re-match between Takumi and Keisuke. And I have been good mate, we need to race on the touges of Toscana in GT5 again soon

It could be a possibility that Takumi and Keisuke could race against each other in an ultimate showdown after Project D finish their expeditions.

Episode 21 of Fourth Stage vaguely hinted at such a possible race as Takumi clearly expressed concern about Keisuke's improving downhill techniques during the race between the FD and R34.

That's my theory but we'll just have to wait as the new season continues.
