Yeah, no way to keep water from spilling out of a cup in real life. And the SW20 hairpin jump is ridiculous.

Yeah, it could be done but the amount of time he took would mean that he would have to be driving down a spiral road.

I remember those from an extra segment on one of the DVD sets, it actually looks pretty cool. Nothing that I would use, but just to be content knowing that I had them.

 Half of the entire show is suspension of disbelief.

Because a well tuned car that maximizes use of all 4 tires in a turn is somehow going to be able to lift the inside front tire off of the ground enough to totally clear a ditch...

Oh, and that a well driven Evo is going to have trouble with a 150hp 86.

That's because secretly Takumi's rivals are GT5's AI on their worst days. :guilty:

I want to see how will the GT Wing on the MX-5 will look wobbling around. :D

First bit might be possible if you can get over it quick enough.

Second one: agreed. Although the car should be ~220 now?

Yes it would be possible to get it over if you did it quickly, but the wheel wouldn't come right off of the ground.

And yeah it should be about 220-240hp, but in real life it would get torn apart by Sudo's Evo.

Depends on how stiff the suspension is, rebound settings, etc.

Weren't they also speaking of the 86 getting upgrades as it was being fixed due the aftermath of purple shadow race?

Takumi's 86 had its suspension fixed and re-tuned after the Purple Shadow race, and based from the 1st episode of 5th Stage, it had bigger tires.

The 86 will also get some more upgrades as the story progresses. I've read the manga. These are what as far as I remember, not sure if there are more:

- rollcage
- stock Rear door/hatch of the 86 replaced with FRP body panel
- stock rear window glass also replaced, with acrylic glass (a lot like glass but more lightweight)
- the main mechanic assigned to Takumi's 86 (forgot his name) was willing to fit a supercharger to the 86's engine, but it didn't happen

-> I would think after the Keisuke-Takumi battle (maybe), Takumi might face that very mysterious AE86 Kouki Coupe. :scared:

Nah. IF Takumi and Keisuke were to battle again, it would have to be after they are finished with the Kanagawa area. Because according to the manga...

Shinji, the driver of the AE86 Kouki Coupe, is paired with Go Hojo and his NSX. They're the uphill-downhill duo who will represent Team Sidewinder. In the manga, Keisuke and Go Hojo already started their battle. Which means after that, Takumi and Shinji will then battle against each other.
