So I've watched Episodes 5 and 6. I was scanning through the Eurobeat tracks on Youtube, but when I came across this:



people commented that it was used in the "AE86 vs ZZW30" battle (Takumi vs Kai rematch). Those comments really took me by surprise, because I didn't seem to hear it when I was watching the AE86 vs ZZW30 battle. Whenever I watch Initial D I ALWAYS pay attention to the Eurobeat tracks used in the races. I've heard Speedway numerous times, it's a really good song. I have it in my cellphone's Eurobeat songs list. So I watched the battle again. Again, to my surprise, I didn't hear Speedway :confused: So, where is it, then? Can anyone confirm the comments in the Youtube video, that this song WAS used in that particular battle? Thanks! :)

yeah it's crazy, things are getting a wee bit exaggerated in Initial D now :lol: I think this is the best way the writers can come up with to show Takumi's god-like abilities. :D
 
I'll need to watch episodes 7 and 8 with the subs as I was away when the RAW epsodes came out.

Silly drama Hojo can't get over the fact a girl didn't get with him. Hojo's relationship with Kaori had always been at surface level with every flashback scene, whereas her relationship with Ryousuke is deeper.

I found it dumb Ryousuke would bother trying to save him by braking. I'm just waiting for the Z driver to jump in and help him stop Hojo. :lol:

For some reason episode 8 never got subbed on gogoanime. So I went Googling around and caught this version:

I like this site more, hopefully they keep up better than GGA.

Oh and guys, don't get too caught up with the seeming hyperbole that's been gaining steam for Takumi recently. Things take a very interesting turn later on in the current series of the Manga, and you'll find out what the Fujiwara Zone's really all about here in the Anime soon.

If what was said at the end was true, the series may end at ep 12 or 13.

It depends on how the battles are spread out between the NSX vs FD and AE86 Zenki vs AE86 Kouki. There's no doubt it will be a shorter series just like Second Stage.
