The most drivers we've had on a grid is 12 at the Nurburgring 24hours :)

Im starting a Super GT race series myself and im wondering if there were any drivers that couldn't join your series as there weren't enough seats...maybe they could join mine, that way everyones happy...please let me know...

The race video is uploading right now, shouldn't be too long before it's up. :)

Btw, my best on fuji at the moment is a 1:29.xxx :)

Ye had some fun chasing you Maxitsu, Sorry about the bump, but you turned a bit more or earlier than I thought you would :)

What was funny was that the sleep stream almost drag me with you into the wall in the tunnel a few laps. You had way to high speed and went to the wall. The sleep stream made it hard not to follow. Was fun and I learned a few things about down force or lack of it when being in sleep stream :) I knew it would happen, but how powerful it was.. good experience :)

After a few laps I learned and then took advantage of your mistakes in this corner. Good race Maxi, to bad about your last corner.

Fuji time
I'm at 1:31.213 (best)

But I saw phil do a 1:30.something.. Guess I need to work harder..

Me? Mistakes? Not a chance :P

Just a question Erik, Do you know you can actual start racing when the game says START. I notice your starts are slow...Is there reason..for waiting?

Anyways my times on Fuji are 3-4 seconds off the pace, have to work on the setup. Did not yet do any long practise sessions. but i don't expect any good results in this race.

ye, I think I drop qualify session, I have to chase everyone from the back of the grid anyway. Well like I said before, I only race with one leg, the other one is amputated. So it's hard to do the nice start you guys do, I have to do the handbrake so I don't false start. And I just don't know how to fix it yet. Been practice it some, but nothing seem to work. So my vote goes for rolling start next season :P

I also use the handbrake, its all about timing. but no rolling starts for me:crazy:

I don't mind doing rolling starts if we go with heavy damage ;)

Guess my timing sucks then :grumpy:
Well I actually found a way to use my big toe on the brakes and the rest of my foot on the throttle, so I will see if that helps 💡

It feels faster, but I have to check. I do that on race of course :scared:

Practice starts, let go just after No.1 in the 3,2,1, START countdown.

Timed to perfection you can make a few places, thats how I get from the back in most races!

Fuji time 1.30.4 (Yellowhat) 👍

Come and kill my buzz then Arkano and GP:tdown: lol

Ok. Now I get it, that's almost a second before I let go 💡

I think Joey just did! :)

painful to watch it again. I still don't now why my car suddenly oversteers at the end at the turn, i actual did take the corner easy to avoid oversteer.

anyways...At Fuji i am still to slow, have problems to drive low 1:31's. and i am driving not any good at sector 3, thats the place where i lose the most of my time.

Added to the OP.

Joey...I seriously can't believe you followed me for the second to last lap, and then changed camera to Zzxxz just before I overtook Maxi, the only interesting part of the end of that race! :P You miss so much action because you change cams so much :(

Eh? I got you overtaking Maxitsu lol

How is everyones tyre wear on Fuji? I'm having troubles with it, I can only do 2 fast laps before my tyres are 1/4 gone and it doesn't matter if I setup the suspension soft or stiff, it's the same no matter what the setting. I don't know what's wrong, it was fine in the All-series championship.

All-series had more powerful cars but that's hardly the reason though. :/

I am also having difficulties without the racing line. I can drive the first sector fine, second sector is ok but the last sector is quite difficult as there are no reference points for the corner after the dunlop corner.

Averaging 1.31.xxs... I get 1.30.58x with the racing line. I know i can go faster as i've gone like 1.28s in the pre-season races. (as far as i can remember)

Fugi is a very difficult track to be fast. 3th sector especially. Don't brake too late and hard in the last sector. Let the car roll. Setup of the gearbox is important. Hours of practice is a must.

Whit some practise i managed to be having average laps of (high) 1:31's, fastest 1:30.8XX

I am learning alot about tuning right now. but i am not happy whit my setup and specially the gears.... My current setup let me flow better through the last sector. but like Joey i am worried about my tyres. I never notice that much tyre degradation.:nervous:

You changed camera from me/Maxi to Zzxxz and then cycled back through at the start of the last sector on the last lap...you basically missed all the action and caught the tail end :(

Ah I see what you mean, I don't know why I did that.:ouch:

You sound like my dad at the end of a race when there's an epic battle for 2nd but the director cuts to the leader cruising round the last 2 corners and over the line, followed by shots of the pit crew jumping up and down; then we see the 2 who were fighting for 2nd in the gravel having some handbags.

But it's true :(

I've fixed my tyre wear issue now after a bit more tweaking with the suspension. :) I couldn't manage to get a 1:29 again today, just kept making mistakes on turn 2 with my braking point and the final turn I keep on applying the power too soon causing the car to oversteer. :( The best I could get today was a 1:30.5xx, if I can get those 2 turns right I could get a few more 1:29's.
Whoever manages a 1:28 or even a 1:27 though is definitely an alien...
