Intercontinental GT500 Championship Season Two - Finished

Wow, well as I wont participate I actually thought that someone else fixed this.

Arkano. Sign us up, look like we do have 4 people available. All the good GT-R's are taken so I guess we end up in something else. I wouldn't take that decision for you guys.
 
i'm up for taking one out of the 4 spots available for the series..

only lexusses available it seems.. imo we should decide faster..

PS. i've been calculating the standings again, and so far it seemslike most of the points are wrong. some have been given les and some more points.. andway, ill post the points that i calculated n take a look at them please..

2.ErikAndre with 238 points
3.C-Falcon with 237 points
4.Netherdragon with 184points (20 more points??)
5.Gp-Cain with 200 points
6.Propersian with 190 points
7.Zzxxz with 188 points
8.Maxitsu with 141 points
9.Arkano with 134 points
10.Anastasis with 117 points
11.Team_RadPit with 35 points
12.Skengdigi with 30 points
13.Karolinaste with 11 points

weird thing is that skengdigi has 2 poles points ( 2 wich makes it 4 points while he just had 1 race )

Eh he have 1 pole and 1 fastest lap witch is 2 points for the pole and 1 point for the fastest lap.

The leaderboard show the amount of points he got for pole and fastest lap, not the amount of times :)

EDIT:
But Netherdragon should have had 184 points, not 204. Rest looks fine on my calculator! :)

oh i tought that was the number of poles they had, anyway good that mistakes will be solved
 
Instead of doing pre-season racing, we could have some education in maths.
For most of us it seems to be a very good idea. Then we finally know how long we drive on hards and the leaderboards would be perfectly calculated.

You guys don't have to be stuck with the Lexus necessarily. There is a proposal on the captains agenda that if no league "volunteers" for a Lexus we'll allow teams to double up on a GT-R and/or allow a car like the Nismo Z that might be more desirable.

I signed you guys up based on a PM I received, but it would be appreciated if your team captain (currently listed as Arkano5) would follow the challenge thread fairly closely and also provide some input for the next couple days while we hammer out the final details. Otherwise your league will have no say in the direction/decisions.

FYI, voting on the date/time is taking place now and the car issue is shortly on the agenda so it's in your best interest to have one person following/participating at this phase. If Arkano5 is too busy or not available you should probably pick another captain for now. Note that the captain does not necessarily have to be one of the four drivers for your league.

Posted our registration etc, prefer to use the GT-R since it puts everyone on the same level.

I need to know who wants to compete from here. I'm happy to compete and I'm also happy to sit out for other people.

Also, I need to know what times people that want to compete, can compete. The race they're propsing is the week after our final championship race at Spa so there wont be any conflicts, so I'm going to open up by saying that my preferred time is 21:00GMT and my alternate time would be anything from 19:00GMT onwards.

IIRC the inter-championship tournament thing is on Spa so we'll be able to see who are our quickest drivers around Spa the week before the tournament is to take place (unless there's a deadline already set for announcing a driver line up? I haven't properly read through the thread yet, apologies).
 
I think you should post it in their thread Arkano ;)

If it is a Saturday and in a GT-R I will be happy to drive, but I have no problem sitting it out either.

I should be on fairly early tomorrow for some practice. I've been in a mood I'm rarely in since Tuesday, which means I haven't even played Skyrim this week :lol:

What are the times people are getting so far on Nurburgring, and how long are you tyres lasting? :sly:

EDIT: I might just hop onto GT5 for some practice in around thirty minutes.

New best lap time! 1:51.746 is my best lap time so far. I lost two tenths on the final sector in the chicane (still unsure how I should be taking this to optimise speed) and the final corner (turned in too early).

Still got work to do on that, I'm actually beginning to expect to see a 1:50.9xx or quicker as pole time. I'll be on pretty early tomorrow, got a bunch of transmission, LSD and tyre strategy practice I want to get gone :)

Oh, and I actually need to practice the hard tyre too. Totally forgot about that :lol:
 
btw if the inter league race is on the 3rd then i cant make it, got other plans.

also should really practise for nurburgring at some point...
havent been on ps3 at all for more that 20 mins this week for gaming.

So far, myself, ProPersian, ImmortalPilot & Erik have announced interest and can actually make the race.

Just another funny coincidence I noticed the other day too, our season will end on the same weekend that the F1 season finishes this year.

Guys with the lexus with dont have a chance i know that.
He have make lower HP for the lexus then then the Gtr.
Only we can make turbo2 and that is nothing.
The nsx is also good for spa but gtr the best then nsx and with lexus no chance.
 
I actually put in a better time with the Lexus than I could with the GT-R, you will get my settings for the Lexus.. 1:14.2 on medium tyres so far. And me behind the wheel, I have a bit more to do on the gearbox and I think I see 1:13 something..
Also some small tweaking to the drive train as my rear tyres seem to go a bit faster than the front. (I still have some wheel spinning when I push hard)
So I'm in with the Lexus ;)

with that hp i can make a 1,12 times
i have drive today with the tomica on medium with 503 hp a 1,13,20
But we can drive 518 hp with a gtr then i think i can drive a 1,12,50 with the gtr.
i must look tomorrow the lexus but i think only 1,14,00 with the lexus.
i will try your setup m8 maybe its bether but i dont think i hate this car.
 
But the torque in the Lexus is much higher, so you need to shift the gear a bit earlier, even in turns I shift early so I get a lot of power into the grown. But I remember now, last time I checked you used Automatic Transmission. You kinda need a Manual to drive it effective.

i'm all ok with the lexus, its no problem for me, with the right setup it can do really well imo. i think it just needs good team tuning to get everything right.

but i prefer the nsx over the lexus though
