Bernal_Brazil, you did yourself proud then, driving the GTlm and still feeling the need to zig zag down the straight so a Vette couldn't get your draft

P.S IMO i think it shows bad sportsmanship when people zig-zag to prevent anyone using their draft

On a side note is there anyone with a wheel and like's driving the Vette who could test my car and maybe point me in the right direction on improvements, I'm not that good a driver but am still pushing it into very high 58's in free run, thanks

Benoni2 and doctorben is the same person, and his a good racer, agressive but good, plays fair in most of the times, but also like thanos, who push me out a few times and i never understand why?
Benoni2 says to me his a good driver too i still pratice to beat they.
I have no regrets about that.
This is a game for the best drivers in the world or not?
Thanks for the forum.
Hrxrj.

hi HRXRJ:)
not really true mate:sly:
after "punted party" you send me exactly that message:"let me race"
and the ansewrs i gave you was :" no prob but don't punted me no more....if u did mistake, wait te guy ok....apologize..see u". isn't it???:)
it's a basic man, I wanted to show you how borring is to be pushing...you were lucky...i waited you (to push u again:ouch: lool)
sorry i didn't have RUDI's self controle:crazy:
no prob now right:tup:👍

I've bought my first wheel (a G25) and I'm just trying to learn how to drive from the beginning.

Aero, I was a pad player from GT1 to GT4, I only tried the wheel (G25) with GT5p too.

You will see very soon that there is no comparison with a pad and will never come back to it, Soooooooooo much fun :sly:

Just an advice... don't stop practicing and start using your left foot for braking. you should improve your times greatly 👍

Thanks GTP_racer_LP for nice battle! You shouldn't give that 2nd place for me, You really earned it. You were much quicker, I only were behind you cause slipstreaming. Good learning lesson to me about Fuji, when driving behind you. Haven't played so much this Event.

ps. I have those few battles ontape... you can find them from my youtube tonight.

Quote from Racer_LP: Accually this thread is for the Suzuka event, not the Fuji event

Oops! I was so excited about that race :) Could mods move this, please..? ( or can I do it myself somehow?)

Just wanted to thank you for the good race and for holding the GT-R back in the first race. It would have been easier for him to get back to me if you weren't between us. :)👍

Great, would love to see them.

I had a few races last night that threw up some points of interest.

One of the races contained no fewer than 7 GTLMS, and as you can imagine it wasn't much of a highlight for me in my Vette...although having said that, the only drivers of the GTLMs who were genuinely faster and I stood no chance against without a race-long tow were FAK_EV1L and GTP_zzALI. Thanos -GTLMsquad was very fast too but a little more prone to errors. Very clean around me though, much appreciated guys!

ZERODUCK[US] - I accidentally ran into his GTLM at Degner 2, mainly because I was so shocked at how blatantly he cut the corner over the grass at Degner 1...every lap that I could see him, he did this.

Bernal_Brazil[US] - Weaving down the straights in his GTLM to lose draft...come on mate you drive a GTLM, that's really not necessary is it? Are you going to weave if someone gets alongside?

And FAK_EV1L[IT]? Well..he just FAKked off and left us all for dead ;)

I also noticed that the GTLM can get the power down significantly earlier than my vette out of the hairpin...so after that corner on the approach to Spoon is where I usually get fried by this car. By the time I've made up ground through 130R and the chicane I'm nowhere near close enough to catch a tow and instead the GTLM behind me is already on its way past.

I knew every race late last night was going to be a Ford-Fest so I just concentrated on (not) improving my free run time.

Bernal_Brazil, you did yourself proud then, driving the GTlm and still feeling the need to zig zag down the straight so a Vette couldn't get your draft

See above...

I disagree mate, anyone posting 58s is a driver worthy of respect and praise, well done!

All the best

i know how to race with: elise, Evo 9 & 10, Subaru, S2000 and also with the Ford GT LM.
maybe we will do a daily challenge with 750 PP cars? :sly:

i´m out for today, thx for good racing today. 👍 👍

i will upload this night two races: starring Giangi_GTLMsqd, NISSMAN,Thanos_GTLMsqd, GTNDC_Ramon  and some others. ;)

Some possibilities could be:

1.
Code:
Monday: Lotus Elise 111r /T
Tuesday: Corvette /T
Wednesday Viper /T
Thursday: Amuse s2000
Friday: GT lm
Saturday: Elise 111R/T vs. Viper /T (actually a good match)
Sunday: GT lm

2.
Code:
Monday: GT lm
Tuesday: Other 750 cars
Wednesday GT lm
Thursday: Other 750 cars
Friday: GT lm
Saturday: Other 750 cars
Sunday: GT lm

Or you make a better one... 👍

What do you think..? Could be much fun if everybody would agree on something.. I know that usually is tought job to do... :ouch:

I'd like to see races where all have at least close to equal chances.. (=basically seperating GTlm's)

I think it's a fantastic idea. Just to clarify though, with the above example would we ALL have to use GTLMs on a Sunday? Or do you just mean regular GTLM users can still race with it?

All the best

@Timppaq Good idea, maybe even throw in the Ford GT06 as I've seen a few drivers racing that getting a respectable time

Might work even better like this: (3 x GTlm, 4 x others)

Code:
Monday: Other 750 cars
Tuesday: GT lm
Wednesday Other 750 cars
Thursday: GT lm
Friday: Other 750 cars
Saturday: GT lm
Sunday: Other 750 cars

I guess that it would be better not to specify too much, just first see how the race goes like this. (?)

Guess I should practice the GTLM, then. Anyone have a good setup for the pad? Haven't found any settings I really like yet.

So is it GTlm on the menu today? :D

edit:

*goes tuning*

?

Same here. The LM just doesn't feel natural with most set-ups I've tried (including my own) and I find it difficult to pull off an error free race while also running really quick laps. The RBE also makes the car even more difficult to drive with a pad (because there is no steering feel) and also makes finding a good race tune tough as the cars handling characteristics are constantly changing.

That's it... I'm ordering a wheel today...it's time to play with the big boys. :mischievous:

I think it's time we had a 750pp* only thread for this event?

Checking interest?

*unless restricted.

Check out Dragonistics Red Venom Tune for the GT LM. Very Stable best yet

so you're driving today?? (goes to fetch driving tips from m. schumacher)

it would be nice to see you on track :)

Thanks for the advice Grim. I already tried Drags tune and wasn't all that happy with it...when using a pad at least. I was determined to get the GTLM tuned earlier today and already have a pretty good set-up. Easier to drive than drags and slightly faster in the high speed corners. IMO, he has to much rear toe with his tune which makes it drive somewhat strange. That much toe is only making up for some other fault in the set-up...at least in realworld race car set-up. Although you can't argue with his lap times 👍

spyhunter
timeattack07gt

you can also try our tune at Thunder & Lightning, i think its very good to drive. i dont use a pad though. but we have 2 tunes up, one with R3s and one with R2s, of which the tune II is very controllable. but you can see for yourselves.:)

ps. good idea to order a wheel. i think its so much more fun to drive with:tup:

sorry. was a bit hasty there. the tune is for hsr pp 800. will put up a pp750 for suzuka as soon as its ready.

I know what you mean, but it has a fantastic level of lift off oversteer that if used correctly is fantastic throught the S bends as you lift off very slightly and the front of the car pulls back into the corner. I also am using a pad and it is the only tune that I have found that works with this car.

What is your setup on the pad. I use........

R2 - Accelerate
L2 - Brake
L3 - Steer
R3 - Gears.

When I say R3 I mean Push forward to go up gears and down for going down.

Welcome to the site, Bernal. I've had quite a few good races with you over the past few months.

However, your recent record hasn't been as good, to the point where many of us (myself included) thought that bernalstock and Bernal_Brazil where in fact different people.

I look forward to more good racing in the future!
