you can also try our tune at Thunder & Lightning, i think its very good to drive. i dont use a pad though. but we have 2 tunes up, one with R3s and one with R2s, of which the tune II is very controllable. but you can see for yourselves.
ps. good idea to order a wheel. i think its so much more fun to drive with:tup:
Thanks for the offering spyhunter! I already got my the LM sorted out pretty well. I'll give yours a shot for the hell of it though. Thanks again! 👍
I know what you mean, but it has a fantastic level of lift off oversteer that if used correctly is fantastic throught the S bends as you lift off very slightly and the front of the car pulls back into the corner. I also am using a pad and it is the only tune that I have found that works with this car.
What is your setup on the pad. I use........
R2 - Accelerate
L2 - Brake
L3 - Steer
R3 - Gears.
When I say R3 I mean Push forward to go up gears and down for going down.
I think pretty much any LM is going to have lift throttle oversteer characteristics unless the car is set-up to understeer like a pig lol....just the nature of the beast. I'm just trying to fine tune how much lift throttle oversteer the car has and how easy it is to get the car to straighten using the throttle.
With the pad I use the x and square button for gas and brake and the joystick for steering, while L2/R2 are used for shifting. I've tried using the L2/R2's for gas and brake in the past like you're using, but found them to be too awkward for my fingers. After one race my pointer fingers felt like they had a bad case of arthritis lol. The the L2 and R2 buttons definately give you more modulation and control though. The wheel will fix all of that though
