Hi everyone Jhf4wolf here ,Been playing Gran Turismo since the beginning. I have been coming to the site since gt6 came out. I enjoy the game alot and tuning the cars is the best part. I Have some favorite tuners that I follow and appreciate. I am from sunny San Diego, CA and reside in Tijuana,México. I am a truck 🚚 driver for Doller General So when I ain't driving a truck I'm driving gt 😎 lol. I am still playing all the GT's .I am restarting GT6 on PS3 and using a controller. Waiting to get a PS5 soon for GT7.

Greetings, I have known about gtplanet for some time just never joined. I have been playing Forza Horizon, the most bug filled game ever produced.
Recently switched to gtplanet because of the decline quality in the Forza Forums.
Hoping to become a good contributing member here.

Hi,

I found GTPlanet looking for tunes. I'm from Washington DC metro area. I've been playing Gran Turismo since Gran Turismo 3. I've always played with a controller, but have seriously considered picking up a Fanatec outfit. I don't really play any other games.. I used to be a big fan of the SOCOM series back in the day, but there's not currently any 3PS games that really compare, so I just play Gran Turismo 7 now. I'm really looking forward to connecting with the tuners and livery designers on the forum.

Cheers,

Max

Welcome Max! You found the right place for all things, not just GT7, but all Sim Racing games, memes, Lego, Sports. GTP has it all baby!

Hi all
  • Found GTPlanet from google searching for an issue I'm having right now in GT7
  • Florida, U.S.
  • I can't remember exactly when I started playing racing games. The original Gran Turismo, or maybe some Need For Speed game, it's been decades.
  • Never used a wheel before GT7, jumped head first into Fanatec GT DD Pro (8nm) with the CSLv3 pedals.
  • Call of Duty mostly, when not playing a driving game
  • Make friends and maybe learn from others. I'm not a very good driver in-game, not a lot of time on the sim rig.

Hi,
I'm following this site and forum since a while.
After racing with the controller on GTSport I just bought a G29 and I'm making my way through the top 100000000000000000000 of the world in Gt7 and ACC on PS4

Cheers!

Hi Everyone!!

I come across GT Planet some time ago, so can’t remember exactly.
I’m from Derbyshire, UK and been playing GT since the first one on the PS1 (I still have a copy of GT2 thou!)
Currently play with a Controller, but can’t use a steering wheel at the moment until my cat decides to stop attacking every wire she sees!
I’m also a big fan of the Borderlands Series!
Thou community wise, I'm not sure at the moment.

Anyway, happy racing everyone!

Hi all,

I discovered GTplanet a while ago and was checking the website to get news about GT7. More recently I discovered the forums with the discussions about tunes for the cars and I would like to participate to it.
I am French and live in the Netherlands.
Unfortunately I am playing with a controller (even though the dual sense is nice).
I also like to do online races on GT7 (I am not so good at it)

Happy to join the community!

Hello people! I just discovered GTplanet like 20 minutes ago trying to find out some stuff about GT7....that might get put into another forum soon. I was just having trouble with the region-exclusivity or whatever of the voucher that comes in the game....I live in korea with a US PSN account, so I can't use the voucher, as i got the game in korea. Happy to see there is a comunity like this!

Hello, I'm BoB from France.
I mainly play Assetto Corsa today and I used Rfactor a lot.
I have to complete my equipment by buying a steering wheel because my G25 is in distress.
I found gtplanet by searching the web and found a lot of information there.

Set up a Korean account (or whatever country is on the box) on your console and set it as using that console as the Primary device. Redeem the voucher on that account and all other accounts on the console will have access to it. I have US and Japanese accounts on my UK console and all content redeemed on my UK account is usable on the other accounts.

Hello there, I'm Ren and I'm from Oregon. I've been playing racing games for over 10 years now and I love it. I play on a controller but I hope to jump on a full wheel setup someday. My love for gaming lies with racing games and always has. Happy to be here! :)

Hello, I am not new to racing games but am new to racing with a wheel. I use a TM T300RS GT. Have found answers on your forums many times but when I encountered a question that I couldn’t seem to solve I was reminded of GTPlanet by the NoLift discord.
Decided it was time to get more involved in the forums.

Hey all, i'm Kriss 😎👌 Edit: I am 32 btw

  • How did you find GTPlanet?
A good friend pointed me in this direction :)
  • Where are you from?
    Denmark/France.
  • When did you start playing racing games?
    In theory since Carmagedon (ps1 1998?). But with a wheel (g25) since 2005, 2006?
  • Do you play with a steering wheel? If so, what kind do you use?
Yes. Right now a g29. Miss my old g25 shifter though ;)
  • What other games do you enjoy?
Asseto Corsa, Live for speed (not playing anymore), rFactor (not playing anymore).

I am seventy years old and live northeast of Seattle, Washington, USA. I started with racing games in the nineties and built my own wheel and pedal set from scratch. It worked pretty well. Now I am running a DOF P6 platform and Nvidia 3080 game card. I race mostly vintage cars on Assetto Corsa, especially fifties through seventies, and current F1. I am especially interested in learning more about tuning and relative performance of various cars. I just added the SRS Hurricane wind simulation system to my rig and am quite happy with it.

Hey there, saw your comment right after mine. Love the fact that you built your own setup back then. Did it have FFB?

I have a mod you might have fun with on assetto corsa :)
I've edited a few things on it, and i'd be happy to help you learn also. Although, i am no expert!
The way i have modded it, it can go from 400hp to... way too much. Adjustable with turbo %. Fairly decent grip, but not racecar level. And a "wider" steering angle than normal.
I know my way around most files in this game, weight, performance (what does what) and a few visual editing stuff too.
Here is a picture of it. Sadly i can't find the video i made with it. Let me know and i'll be happy to send it to you.

Hi, I'm from Lisbon, Portugal and I was looking for some online clean racing, I'ved raced in some AC leagues before but been away for a couple of years, I use a T300Rs Gt edition, and play most of the sim racing simulators for Ps4, and some Battlefield
Hope to meet you on track soon, I have no hopes of becoming a pro Sim-racer but I really enjoy some door to door racing...

Found GT Planet through a good, old-fashioned internet search. Thanks for the engine swap list, by the way!

Originally from Ohio, now an official New Hamp****e.

My first racing game was Pole Position on Atari back when I was a little kid... yikes, getting old.

Currently use a wheel, TS300RS GT edition, with the TSM-LC pedal set. Also use the Dualsense if my shoulder or ankle isn't feeling great.

I enjoy many kinds of games, lots of 3rd-person action games, sci-fi, fantasy, and RPGs.

I'm looking forward to sharing info and getting faster!

Hey everyone!
  • Found GTplanet while searching for tunes/leagues/update info on the internet
  • Switzerland
  • Into racing since NFS Most Wanted 2005 on PS2
  • Yes, I currently use the Logitech G923
  • I'm mostly active on Gran Turismo 7 (PS5), participating in various online racing leagues...apart from that I play games from all genres like RPG/Strategy/MMO/Simulation/FPS/Sports
  • Sharing/Discussing/Learning/Racing with fellow Sim-Racers

I tried that, sadly, but it says I can't select the region of south korea on my console, which is wierd, because the console was bought and set up in south korea, and hasn't left the country at all.

Hey guys,
Just got a heads up about this sight while I was looking for help with Assetto Corsa. Looks like I came to the right place.
I’m from the UK and I’ve been sim racing for about a year and a half. Started on a g29 but upgraded this year to a DD Pro. Nice to meet you all.

Hi everyone. I am Sean from Kingston Jamaica. Stumbled on to this forum while searching for some information. I design and fabricate driving rigs. I do play racing games but concentrate more on simulators that can be used to teach the basics of real world driving. Does anyone know where I can find like a regular seatbelt that can be used on a simulator with USB connection.
