Hello friends,

I'm from Brazil and a Gran Turismo player since Gran Turismo 3. Found GTPlanet "googlin'" for some driving tips.
This is a great community!
Actually, a play GT7 on PS4 and besides racing games I also like action, RPG and strategy games.

I've been racing in Forza for many years. Never online and I had a decent Thrustmaster wheel and pedals. Bought a PS5 early on and now that PS released the PSVR2 I was like a dream come true! I bought the Logitech Pro and Pedals and even a next level folding cockpit. I've tracked My Ferrari, a 911 and now the Porsche Taycan 4S. This game is so immersive, my mind is just blown away. I can now play and feel like real life on the track! GT7 has really impressed me, I just wish they had my track Road America so I can practice before actually going there. Forza had RA and I would practice like nuts and then show up with one of my cars and just have a great time cause I really new the tracks in and outs.

The other thing I can't figure out on PS5 is trying to find the people who I race with either to compliment their racing etiquette or ask them why they are so obnoxious. Xbox, you can quickly find all the gamers you played against and message them within minutes. I understand it's a game, but man the drivers that hit me just to get ahead and it seems that effects my DR. I bust my but just to be clean cause I play like real life, it costs money to scratch a car :) That was something Forza had, after a race it cost credits to fix your car every time you hit something.

I'm here to find out if there are any tips on being decent in the GT7 Sport daily races. Seems like some cars just come out of nowhere and pass me like standing still.

I'm from Portugal and been racing since a little kid, played the very first GT game back in the 90's.
Always been using the analog sticks, don't like the idea of a steering wheel at least for now.
I play other types of games like car related and adventure.
Hope to meet great people here and have fun!

Gareth here form the UK. Got here by Googling tunes for cars which brought me to Praiano's thread.
I've been playing GT ever since the original on PS1 about 25 years ago and have played most versions on PS1,2,3,4 & 5 to some lesser or greater degree, but continue to be a bad driver.
My flatmates had a wheel for PS1 but I've not used one since, until I bought a G923 last week - It definately adds a lot, especially with PS VR2 - The immersion is incredible!

I’m from the uk and new to the whole sim racing scene although I’ve played racing games on and off for years and some would say a little bit old for sim racing lol
Currently playing GT7 VR and looking to get into Assetto Corsa & Automobilista 2 as well

First racing game was on the N64 but can't remember the name.
I've been playing Gran Turismo since GT3 on PS2, now playing GT7 on PS5 with Logitech G29 wheel.
I play other racing games and a bit of Fifa.

I'm here to discuss online league racing, BoP changes and the general state of gt7.

I'm from germany, i started playing (racing) games as a little kid, but quickly focused on "sim" racing games, like GTR. I play with a steering wheel (fanatec csl and V3 pedals) and a 8020 profile Rig (motedis). I also enjoy most other video games out there, like elden ring, tekken, wreckfest and so one.

1) I found GTPlanet when searchng for theories about SSR5, SSR7 and SSR11 being linked to each other
2) Brazil, more specifically, Southern region of Brazil
3) My 1st memory is when I was 5-6 y/o playing GT4, racing at Laguna Seca with a Chevrolet Corvette C5
4) Sometimes I use a steering wheel, a Logitech G29
5) Many racing games, like Assetto Corsa and Automobilista, but sometimes I like playing FIFA 23 and Minecraft
6) I'm looking forward to learn more about things that never came to be in the GT series, like SSR City, SSRX Infield and more

Hi All

  • Searching for GT7 setups, google search.
  • Essex, UK
  • I think the first one that really hooked me was the Geoff Crammond F1 games
  • No, just PS5 contrroller, but I drool over the fanatec website. It won't be long.
  • Mostly racing games, F1, F1 Manager. Other than that, Football manager, MW2, the usual.
  • If I kind find people close to me, in their 40's, kinda average, but just want to have fun/clean races.

  • I found GTPlanet by just searching for Gran Turismo content and tips.
  • From Concord (near San Francisco), California, USA.
  • Gran Turismo 2 was my first racing game, started playing back in 2000.
  • I play with a controller, but I have always been intrigued by using a wheel - and now even more so with PSVR2!
  • Mainly open-world adventure games and JRPGs.
  • Contributing and learning more about this awesome genre of gaming!

I like a bit of everything but mostly sport ie NHL is my main go to

What are you most looking forward to doing in the community?
Learning and hopefully getting in some online races with like minded racers .....but it's hard with crap net in Aus and distance from servers etc

Hi guys, i found gtplanet because other told me of this forum. I'm from Italy and I play racing games since I was a kid. I play with a controller(PS4), I like f1 22 and obviously GT7. I will probably check out for some set ups. Bye!
 
Hello everybody!

Shindoruk here and on PS. I'm italian but I live in Switzerland. I started playing GT on ps1, than I started again with GT7 a couple of months ago. I'm here to get tips and to learn from more expert users. For now I'm playing by the controllore but one day I'd like to buy a wheel.

i found gtplanet thx to a friend talking me about gt and ac modding, i started playing when i was 6 with f1 2000 and gt4 back in 2006 i currently have a t300rs on pc. i really like the codies f1 series and ac/acc + some rallys game
