Hi guys!, been lurking around here for quite a while until just now I just decided to sign-up here.

Originally from Thailand now I'm based in Osaka, Japan.

Been playing Racing games ever since I remember from the GT1 to NFS Underground :) and so on!

Controller user! because I'm a Casual player :P

Other than GT7 I also play CP2077, Katamari Damacy, DJMax Series and so on!(Huge nerd I know)

Basically I've been intro creating GT7 liveries lately so I'm looking forward to share my creations here with you all!

Hello everyone!

I greet you from Argentina, I was a fanatic player of GT1 and GT2 when I had the PSX, then life made me migrate to PC and I could never enjoy the GT world again since in my country the economy always makes it very difficult to acquire a PlayStation compared to the average PC hardware. Recently by chance I started to see that the community was working on many improvements to GT4 and I began to investigate everything to the point of becoming a fanatic again in playing the emulated GT4 with all possible improvements for the first time! So I'm extremely happy because the GT world really marked my life. I look forward to enjoying this community and the passion it represents.

Greetings!!!

Hello everyone from Germany! I'm following gtplanet for many years and decided now to sign in to find new friends for my leaderboard... I missed GT3 I think but play racing Games since Ridge Racer on PSone. At the moment I enjoy time trials most. I'm on PS5 with Fanatec CSelite and Clubsport V3 pedals. My favourite wheel is the 'new' McLaren GT3 wheel. So, let's start racing!

when i first heared about the gt4 retexture mod
U.S.A
the first gran turismo game back when i was a child
no, i use keyboard
touhou games, classic nfs, megaman games (especially the zero saga), classic & adventure sonic games to name a few.
i don't know yet...

Hello everyone, I am new here, but I posted already in GT7 Tuning forum asking a question in regards to a specific car tune. Anyway a little about me, I started with racing sims when PS1 Gran Turismo 1 came out and got me hooked for life. I found you guys by searching for Gran Turismo car tuning. I am a dual citizen of US and Poland, I am currently residing in the EU but for how much longer we shall see. I don't play with a wheel, just use the PS controller, I guess a wheel could help, I could go manual on my gears then. I play mostly racing and flying simulator type games, other types never really interested me. In this community I hope I can be of some help with GT7 tunes because that's my current go-to racing sim. Well that's all for now, glad to meet you all.

I found GT Planet first while looking through the engine swaps for the 92' NSX in gt7.
I live in germany and grew up in the U.S.
I started playing racing games about 20 years ago, like GT4, GT 3, Need for speed and so on..
I only play 3 games primarily, Gran turismo for that racing itch, and otherwise DayZ and Metal gear ( lol)
I hope to make a few new pals to race with in Gran turismo, I'm very interested in recreating old Touring car liveries and fantasy ones with inspiration. Endurance races are my Vibe.
Thanks for having me here!

Hi everyone! My name on gt7 (and gt sport) is CrispysCritter. I found the site during various searches for setup tips, and best cars to use for series, stuff like that. I've been browsing the site for a few years but never joined until now. I'm from Canada. Have been playing racing games since the 70's on the old console called Telstar Arcade. (yeah I'm old, will be 55 in a couple months) I've got a wheel and cockpit setup, but can't use it atm, but by next week I'll be set up again. I mainly play racing games, although been playing gtav for 10 years, through all three generations of console. I'm looking forward to joining some livery competitions. Hopefully it will push me to be better at livery making. Hope to get to know you guys better and maybe see you on the track!

Hi All!

I found the site through watching videos on sim racing and such.

Hailing from the USA I've played racing games seemingly forever (Still remember working hard at RC Pro Am on Nintendo).

Recently I've responded to the call of sim racing (and other racing) with a wheel (Thrustmaster TS300). Figured I'd start small before going all out.

Right now I just want to get through races as playing with a wheel is something I need to get adjusted to.

In G7 I'm currently enjoying the lowest possible roulette prizes and trying to figure out the best grind for credit for my skill level (beginner-ish) so I can get these Ferrari cars I want on the invite.

For anyone else who is a beginner, my spreadsheet revealed (so far) that High Speed Ring Clubman Cup 700 is the way to go.

1. No PP, so use whatever (I'm using a 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE near 777PP).
2. Easy track to navigate and if you relax a little in the beginning it's easy to not hit cars and end up clean racing.
3. $722K per hour roughly.
4. Race is 5 laps, which takes 5min 30sec give or take (lap time 1:05-1:07)

Aside from GT, I play Forza Horizon (all of them), Forza, The Crew 2 and am starting to figure out AC/ACC, Automobalista, WRC, etc. Basically racing games have become my main gaming experience with sports games being 2nd.

I came upon GT Planet maybe ten or eleven years ago and have been an occasionally reader since then.

I am from Bronx, N.Y.

I started playing racing games when I was a child.

I only play with a steering wheel at arcade racing games but looking to change that with GT 7 in the future.

I enjoy game genres of all types including platform, Sports, Action, Adventure, etc.

I am looking most to becoming more entrenched in the Gran Turismo community and this site is one way of doing it.

Hi, I'm from Italy, I found GTPlanet by google search.
I started playing racing games ... I don't remember, I'm too hold ...
I own a Logitech Driving Force GT, used in the past with my PS3 and GT5.
I don't think it's usable anymore on the PS5, any suggestions are welcome.
I would like to buy a Logitech G29, in the hope that it will be compatible with the current steering wheel mount.
At the moment I only play with GT7, but I would like to buy the latest version of IOMTT.
I joined this community because I trust to find the right suggestions for great fun!

Hi! Thanks for havin me. Been a year since I last signed in! Found password. Not sure if I did the greeting thing then.
I come across GTPlanet often when I do a search of anything related to GTSport.
I am Canadian. Raced with my girlfriend when she would visit me in Vancouver, back in 1997. I think it was the first or second PlayStation console. Wired. F1 cars. She usually beat me, as I was afraid of hitting cars. It felt so real!
A few years ago I bought the rubber band TM wheel and pedal set. Had a blast but since graduated to FFB T-248.
i pretty much only race cars. Gr4 my fave as I am too old to handle the faster cars. I race on console only (Slim).
GTS/PC2/AC, and I would add ACC, but the input lag on PS4 is untenable.
I am here to learn and to be part of a union of like minded folks.

Hello, hello

Im newish here, aleays browsed this forums for years but never joined. Main reason I joined is not only connect with other racers but to also try and start up my own competition and get people to join as I currently have 3 friends who said they would. Ive created a post that discusses it.

Guten Tag! What a great platform to exist! After having read lots of threads I now finally made an account to participate.
I found GTplanet looking for car setups in GT7. I just bought GT7 for PS4 two months ago and am just starting sport mode and want to connect with fellow racers since there is no real in-game community to get in touch with.
Coming from Aachen, Germany, my racing career started with NFS Porsche as a small kid, continuing with the NFS series and Gran Turismo 4. Since then long time no racing games but finally regained my old passion :)
Unfortunately no racing wheel, only controller. Sometime in the future I'll invest in it.

I'm looking forward getting to know some of you folks. Keep racing!

Hi

found gtplanet from google results trying to get help for my settings in new wheel.

I am from Finland and 40years old, have been playing games from eaely childhood nintendo 8bit. Nowdays playing all genre games, but been wanting to play race game with wheel so invested for rig.

I now have next level racing f-gt elite with direct monitor mount addon and ps5 and psvr2.

Just downloading gt7, still over 100gb left, only able to race those three music tracks and i am already so thrilled and smiling.

Oh yeah and wheel is logitech g pro, i bought bundle and still missing pedals so brake is left flapper and gas right one atm.

Still trying to find some easy guide for settings, wheel is full of settings and gt7 is full of settings and here i am at gtplanet hoping to find some help for my start of racing with good setup firat time in my life.

setup pic with my son driving.
Welcome aboard and have funwith the game. Be prepared gt7 is harder than GT sport! Good luck with your wheel, I just use a standard wireless controller.

Hi ! Stumbled across GT Planet , but glad I did. Been into Gaming since the Atari ( yes, I'm that old ! ) Always liked the idea of using a sim setup and due to rehabilitating from a construction accident I use a basic rig to acclimatise my legs to using pedals. Really into GT7 at the moment, aswell as Dirt Rally 2.0 .

Hi, I'm Dan. I found GTPlanet looking for all sorts of GT7 info, it keeps popping up on Google with useful info so I thought I'd actually make an account. I'm from Hampshire in the UK.

First racing game I played was probably micro machines on the NES way back in the day. Played a bunch of GT games as they came out. Took a bit of a break for the last few years and now I'm back on GT7 with a TM128 wheel, and getting far too carried away with it. 😁
Hello Dan, I'm Chris. Nice to meet you. So, what was your first racing game in general?

Hi, I am nk4e. I have been a member for far too long and still come back though some of my active threads are dead. My first Racing Game in general is Gran Turismo.

I was looking for help when I saw gtplanet and the people who are having problems with GT7. I don't use a steering wheel just the controller. I hail from the steel city where they are famous for cutlery and stainless Steel. I now live in Scotland and have been here a long time. I first got into driving games when I played Colin McRae on ps2.
My other games I like Playing is the Sniper Elite Games, call of duty, far cry 6 and the WRC games. I am also a big fan of train sims. I retired 3 years ago due to cancer and I can't have treatment due to the medication I am on ie I would bleed to death

Hi Ozzie, what a great first name you have got and from a great hero of mine who I have seen many times when I was just a wee long haired rocker. I am only just finding my feet on here and I still don't know how to navigate through this forum. But I will get there eventually, I have been up all night sorting out my new ps5 what I won in a competition about 4 weeks ago. I put GT7 on my console and I wish I hadn't as I had to do a factory reset then rebuild the database in safe mode and add another update in safe mode because I kept getting the Lan-Cable not connected thrown at me every time I tried to play my ps5. But hey that's enough of me ranting welcome to gtplanet.

Hi, I'm from the UK, I was searching for ways to win Lake Maggiore GR4 730 PP 5 lap race. I have been playing racing games since Gran Turismo was released. I only have a controller, not a steering wheel and pedals. I have bought multiple cars for this race and not finished higher than 4th. Any suggestions on cars/ set ups would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
