I had assumed it would be released with the build, but the 29th isn't bad. I'm starting to get more excited about this release than others.

I'd be very tempted to re-new my subscription were that the case.. I tend to stick to the Production/Sedan and GT based cars, so having tires that finally feel like "tires" will be a big plus. If the new ISR build preview video is to be believed, it would seem you'll be much more connected with the cars in question, more so than before.. When will the new build be released? If I recall correctly, it should be the start of week 13 this week?

What's sad is that every time I see a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 upgrade I expect to see something like this,

'McLaren MP4-12C GT3

Name changed to McLaren 650s GT3

Bodywork updated to match name

Handling physic updated

BoP updated to match new handling model'

It would more likely go down as;

'McLaren MP4-12C GT3
Tire Model updated
handling model updated for BoP

McLaren 650s GT3
New Car!

On Twitch, I saw the Las Vegas Bullring. Something unique I noted was that a real picture of this track was used in the loading screen for this track. The track seems to handle pretty well from a race I saw there on Twitch.

The other night, I saw the Figure 8 configuration of Irwindale Speedway being raced. Funny enough, that event was in fog. It was as nuts as Figure 8 racing can be. What was weird was that most of the racers were street stock machines, but there was this one Pontiac Solstice that ultimately won the race. Only two drivers were on the lead lap of this 40-lap race on the Figure 8 Irwindale race, and most of the others were at least 23 laps down.

Crazy, folks.

iRacing have just officially announced a partnership with the Craftsman World Of Outlaws Sprint Car series and World Of Outlaws Late Model Series,

I've seen lots of stock car racing on iRacing live streams; but tonight for the first time, I saw my first stream with stock cars road racing. One league set up a race around Sonoma Raceway. I just thought it was different to see some road racing stock cars for a change. It was a pretty good and pretty eventful race. Quite fun. On top of that, I noted nice touches such as the wind resistance to the window nets and even some birds flying by from overhead views. I still like the attention to detail in iRacing.

You should see the air force acrobats fly over pit straight at Le Mans, the noise made me think that something was wrong with my system aha

I saw sprint cars for the first time in an iRacing stream tonight. It was a race of non-winged sprint cars around Indianapolis Raceway Park. The same course had Legends cars on IRP before I saw the non-winged sprints.

iRacing seems to do a great job at team/driver liveries along with helping those get started with pre-made schemes. Some of those techniques are what I may employ in designing skins for GTR2 and rFactor. Here I am seeing all these different teams racing in iRacing. I even saw a funny one that had "iCan't Design" on the back! So it can be great fun checking out various races and race teams.

Am I reading too far into this or do they mean things like grass by "wet surfaces"
Particles

- Opponent cars' particles should now roll better.

- Opponent cars will now emit less smoke when on wet surfaces.

I do get a kick out of seeing older cars in iRacing. Currently, I was watching a race of the Lionheart Retro Series featuring the Lotus 79 around Pocono Raceway. Very cool stuff listening to and seeing these cars at speed.
