IRS Blancpain Intercontinental GT Challenge: Season 2 | Saturdays 8:30p EST | 2.4H Finale at Spa!!

Yes. Arduous and painstaking but not impossible. Find when the driver hits the gas, mark the time, subtract total seconds from their finishing time. It's annoying but it's only three races and two drivers so we only have to do these six times and that's it.
Honestly you are also talking about the 2 that moved down as well. They need to be properly placed as well.

This doesn't also take into account whether the promoted/relegated drivers had incidents in their former splits, leading to a loss of time that may not have happened in their new split. In turn, this just leads to inaccurate race results.

Well four* drivers since it’ll need to be done for the PROs going into the AM class as well.

edit: ignore, @Neutty already covered

We'll figure something out that's fair for everyone.
Honestly it'd be far easier to just reset points for those drivers. It's harsh but it's the most apt solution, as every other possible way to make it "fair" would take far too much time and effort.

Honestly guys this is coming from me as a driver, I'd be perfectly fine with 0 points going to Am. I've only got 15, so I've hardly got anything to lose.

I reached out to bloodyboyblue as well. If he's okay with points as is then that's half the situation solved. I get that the Pro field has feelings about this because before they were added in Noir was in 2nd place. Now he's in 4th because they slotted into 2nd and 3rd. The championship is that much tighter. To me, this is nothing but good news as the season goes on, but I do understand why people would have concerns.

The two going to Pro need to have their points adjusted based on finishing time versus the pro lobby.
Yeah, I can agree with that. It's unfair to the other competitors. It's also unfair to drop them down to 0.

I absolutely agree I do not deserve P3 in PRO. I don’t think I deserve 0 points either as some have suggested, but this is a made up championship with a grand prize winnings of $0. However you guys work it out will be fine with me.
Don't give us ideas! I've already thought about real world prizes inspired by some other leagues on here ;)

If the races in Am weren't as close as the ones in Pro then I have serious doubts about this.

If we're doing adjustments then just give the movers half the points of where they'd slot into the rankings. They don't get reset and they don't slot themselves at the bottom.

Ace and I have just been working on the scores and have finished adjustments for Rounds 1 and 3. We haven't been in contact with Damon tonight so as soon as we get some data from him we should be all sorted out for Round 2.

@aceboy127 and @bloodyboyblue where did you put the sand bags I'll see you guys in am before the end of the season

Are points final for the new PRO guys? They seemed to have jumped me in standings already and haven't raced with us yet.
Yeah, those are the adjusted points based on where they would have finished in the races. None of the guys lost their earned position, that's why you'll see some positions on there twice.

I understand what you said sir but still confused. 2 drivers got inserted into PRO class in front of me. That shifts me down. I would have been 7th if they were still in AM class but now I'm 9th. How does that constitute me not losing the position I earned?
