Is Your Car in Gran Turismo, and Does Your Car Deserve to be in GT5?

Hey atleast my cars better looking and faster than your crap volvo

Ouch!..My toes!

My friend has an '04 Forester. I've driven it and I think my Volvo is on the same level - if not faster than the scuby...and I doubt they've made many performance upgrades to make the new ones faster. Better looking? Thats down to opinion.
What about functionality? Mine is way bigger than yours and fits full grown adults in the back and 4 sets of golf clubs in the back. Yours struggles to muster two..from experience anyway. The '08 is about the same size as the '04 (maybe a bit bigger) and I have trouble fitting in the back of my friend's one - I'd wager yours wouldn't be much better. Even the Liberty - a car the same size as the 850 has rubbish leg and head room in the back - even though it's made for families.
My interior is much nicer too - and I don't care if you have the leather or the cloth - the seats are too hard for everyday use. My stereo is better than your (stock) stereo too.

Maybe if both cars were in GT5...we could race them against each other:idea:
But after testing both, I feel my car trumps your's in many features that GT doesn't concern with, so it may be a bit lopsided.(IMO) (IMO) (IMO!!!!!)

Whatever floats your boat. Yes yours has more legroom, yes yours has better seats and stereo, but does yours have an engine that from stock internals has the potential to have over 300kws at the wheels? Didn't think so!

Hey i just realised something! When you crash at 100+ km/h, you'll die, i wont see my cars safety rating is 5 stars!!! Thats better than any performance advantage!

I drive a nissan b13 sunny/sentra with a sr-20 de, yes i did an engine swap, i would like to see the nissan b13 in GT5 or at least if they could bring back the nissan pimera/G-20 or the nissan b15 sunny, nissan pulsar gti-r or the nissan march super turbo that was in GT2.

Yeah? well I think mine got a 4 star rating which is pretty good considering it's 12years older than your car.

er...last time I checked, NSW was in Australia too, so the same question applies to you too.

I don't drive a holden V8 (very stereotypical) because my mum didn't want such a big car, and my dad didn't want such a fuel guzzler.

we did have an old Commodore wagon, but mum (being such a revhead) couldn't drive it because it was auto - she found it eery

BAH, my car fits 10 or more golf bags in the back.

No, a jacked up feral ute would be stereotypical. A Holden V8 is an extremely nice car.

PS- My Ute doesn't deserve to be in GT5.

Yeah, if you had skill, some really long and stong steel rods, locked suspension and solid tyres, you could probably put 1000 golf bags "in" your car. Space is not an issue.

Um......... its called a ute!!

:D

Although my Ute doesn't deserve to be in GT5, perhaps a same generation Commodore sedan with the V6 engine does. My suggestion is the HSV SV3800.

I think I have most of you beat. Last year, trying to lug a big synthesizer to a store for a swap, I forgot to set my parking brake, and my car destroyed a neighbor's wooden shed. :P I was so upset I didn't take any pictures, but it went completely through it, ran over ladders, lawnmowers, a weed eater, had the big wooden roof lying on top of the car. It was dangling over the edge of the concrete foundation. And the only damage were a few scratches, some paint scarring, dents in the rear airfoil and a chip out of the passenger side rear view mirror housing! That car must be part tank.

But yes, it's in Gran Turismo, and I look forward to buying a few Supra MkIIIs, some destined to become race cars.

yeah? well one night I heard some intoxicated people running on cars outside on the street - the next morning, guess which was the only one without a dent on it? VOLVO POWA! It had shoe marks though which took a bit to get off.

I believe anything with four wheels and an engine deserves to be in GT5. Aside from all the obvious cars like supra and skyline along with other sports- and supercars (with different models included) I want to see just as many common, "boring" cars such as my Mercedes w201 190E 2.0, but then not just my model. I want every model between the 1.8L 8v to the 2.6L 16v, and the 2.0L diesel to the 2.5L turbodiesel 👍.
The same goes for other car makers like volvo, ford, renault, peugeot, citroen, bmw, saab (if they will exist in any form by then?) and all the every-day car makers!
I want to see much less atos-like cars, they're just stupid and take too much space in the GT-games even if there of course must be some of them.
And this is so much wishful thinking, i know =).

Also when including french cars, don't include their ability to fail in terms of electronics :)

anyway, this post maybe fit better in the wish list-thread but here I go

Pontiac G6... maybe the GXP could be in the game (even though it looks like a bag of smashed a**es).

Well I like the G6 GXP....
