Is Your Car in Gran Turismo, and Does Your Car Deserve to be in GT5?

Civic Type-r EK9 has been in GT1 - GT4 i believe.

I own a Honda Civic EK4 which is not the Type-r model but i have since transplanted an Integra Type-r Engine B18C and done some suspension mods car has 210bhp at the flywheel. Also has the ITR big brakes - 5 lug hubs and is sporting Integra Wheels

Anyway my point is - i wish Gran Turismo 5 allowed for Modifications of this kind. I would most definately rather have the EK9 with the B18C as it is in standard form over 100kg's lighter than the EK4 chassis.

I expect my car but not necessarily my model. I drive a 2.0L Mazda 3i Touring. The 2.3L was in Forza. Im fairly confident that at the very least the Mazdaspeed 3(2007-2009 and the new 2010) will be in. Im hoping for the The 2.0 S sedan and the 2.3 S wagon as well. Would be nice to try and match some of the mods of done to mine virtually.

Well as you know there has been some pretty random cars in GT4 like for example that Volvo Station Wagon (what the hell?) and those really really REALLY old Mercedes Benz cars that had 1 hp. So I think my car should be in GT5 because I love how they put random cars like that in, makes it fun.

This is a car like mine: Holden Commodore Acclaim (VZ) Station wagon.

Another Holden owner, good work.

Hell yes!!! I think they need Utes in it so we can show em how Aussies drift.

 True mate, or just to see the look on some poor JDM kid's face (figuratively) when he loses to a work horse.:D

IIRC my car was in GT4 and I'm sure it - or a very similar model - will be in GT5.

BTW, I drive a 2002 Mazda MX-5 1.8 (sometimes called 1.9) with sports package (lowered, Bilstein shocks, larger wheels, all leather sports seats, six-gear manual etc etc), and it's in silver.

I think it deserves to be in there. Love it.

If it is, it doesn't deserve to be in GT5. Breakdown:

1999 Mitsubishi Mirage
1.5 Liter L4
92HP (Yes, it only has 92 Horsepower!):ouch:

Well, technically my dads car but owell.

2009 Holden VE Commodore sv6. GO AUSSIE. its got a 3.6ltr, with 195kw and weighs 1750kg

Just wana drive this car and know that others are trying a great aussie car.

My car is a 2009 Scion tC.

This car was not previous GTs, but it deserves a spot just like a Honda Civic does. It may not have that "HOLY ****!" factor like the name Skyline or the golden aura of a Ferrari, but it is popular enough to be in GT5. The Scion brand already have a culture of its own like the Civics and I can't see why it wouldn't be in the game.

Please Kazy! Add this car just like you added Civics! Scion tCs are made in Japan anyways, so it shouldn't be hard to borrow one from the factory. :)

Well, i don't have a car as i'm 14, but my parents have Buick Enclave '09 and Toyota Corolla '03 so short answer is no, neither of these are really GT material. However, the Corolla is borderline, but they wouldn't put one from '03 in

I would love to see my car (in sig) in the game, but I doubt it. Maybe the Turbocoupe if anything. A fox body Mustang would be possible though (mechanically identical to my Tbird).

gt4 had the 5.7 liter version of the gto, same with holdens monaro.
so i'm not going to second guess that they put the bigger ls2'd gto in there.

if they dont cool, i know they'll have an 08 or 09 viper though.

Well i would love it if they had my father's car in there. The 1996 Rover 600 2.0 Sli. It has a Honda engine so it has plenty of torque. Maybe they could even add the Turbo model.

Yes i know i'm dreaming and i know it may never happen because Rover are dead...but maybe they could ask TATA (who own the Rover name) if it could be in GT?

1990 Volvo 740 Turbo
I would say yes, cause it epitomized the "square" look of the 80's.

1979 Datsun 210/Sunny B310/140Y
Nah.

1971 Opel GT
Sure.

02 alfa 147 2.0ltre twinspark was in GT4.... identical to the car i drive at the moment. (dnt laugh ,my first car and it was cheap. its really fun too believe it or not and im officially a petrol-head according to topgear standards.) it was very well resembled in the game... doubt itll be in gt5..

The '01 Honda Stream 2.0 VTEC isn't but i think it deserves to be in the game. It's basically a 7 seater type R and I think it's an early version of the current "sporty people carrier trend" we see in Europe. I think it's sportier and more deserving of being there than another boring SUV, sedan, micro-car, or yet another version of a skyline.

This is a driving simulator. It's supposed to allow to drive a large number of interesting "sporty" cars...

Whatever floats your boat... personally I'd rather they have more cars that are designed for going quicker - rather than cars designed to carry children.

Then again - they did have the Espace F1 in GT2 (was it 2 or 3?)

C.

So you are saying this should not be in the game?
