Is Your Car in Gran Turismo, and Does Your Car Deserve to be in GT5?

That's an awesome-looking Silvia. :sly:👍

Some sweet rides in here, I have to get my license and a car - NOW.

In other news, I was reading/scanning through most of thread and was wondering if the Escort Cosworth claim was proven or not?

maybe i am wrong but i am sure it was in GT4 the CB7 the year after was not which is what i drive and would love to see in GT5 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3271/2606221828_62cd496854.jpg?v=0

my car isnt an accord its a 2nd gen prelude 83-87

I think mine will be, Prelude SH 5-th gen (well, here it's called VTi-R instead SH)

Not top performer, but handles very good on wavy roads

Sadly, I doubt my current car will make it into a Gran Turismo. It's a 2002 Saab 9-3 SE Turbo. damn good year for a saab too. Closest I've seen was the 2002 Viggin in forza 1. (maybe forza2 as well, I've never played it) It didn't really drive the same. If one was to pick a handful of saabs to put in the game, I'd imagine the 2002 viggin, a turboed 900, one of the new x-drive units, and a couple classic rally saabs. I'd probably leave my 2002 out of the list actually. Nice car, but the others are more significant.

actually of the list of cars I've owned I believe my 1982 civic made gt4--if not the exact year, at least the same generation of car.
I love this ad--whoever wrote it obviously never drove that hunk of crap. haven't touched a honda since.

I think my car deserves to be in GT5 cause as far as I know, an 81 Chevy Malibu has never been in any video game and I think it would be cool for one to be in there cause they are lightweight for their size and handle fairly decently. I wouldn't care if they did a two door or a four door, I'd still be happy! linky: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3041942

I have a 2009 Malibu 1LT that I just bought last month. It's special to me, and I would love to see it in GT5.

I have a prev gen bottom spec Micra/March. The top specs been in GT4, but the new one would definitely be a better fit for this new game.

My car was in GT4.. the FWD Mitsubishi Eclipse. I think it deserves to be in GT5, but I have a feeling it won't make the cut. Just a hunch.

I want my bros 190e 2.5-16 cosworth on there, aswell as its rival, the e30 m3, likelihood is that they will just bring back the 190e 2.5-16 EVO 2 AMG, which wouldnt be so bad.

I don't have one (unfortunately) but I have the opportunity to drive one some times (I work in BMW)... a BMW M3... and it seams that it's a little bit underperformance in the GT5 P, the car in the real life it's much quicker than in the game and much more stable than in the game… that’s only my opinion…

they have to put the BMW E30 M3 in GT5.. they just have to. That's the car I single-handedly want most.

Its so true, I like how forza has it, aswell as VW MK2 Golf GTi, and VW corrado. Another car I feel is a must, that I have never seen in any game, is the Ford Sierra RS500 cosworth, I hope all these cars mentioned aswell as the merc are in GT5, if there are good customization options and all that, I think it would make it the only game I play tuill GT6 :)

I've had lots of cars that deserve to be in gt a small list ;p

ford mondeo 1.8 liter 115 hp mk2
ford mondeo 2.5 liter 225 hp hhp mk2
mercedes benz c180 w202 122 bhp
i know its not the fastest car in the world but its roadholding is great
mercedes benz w202 36 amg 280 hp the only thing that is wrong with this car is that it has,nt came out with a manuel gear box
ford sierra 2.0 nomal edition hp?
ford sierra 2.0 cosworth 200 hp but it should be possible in the game too add a bigger turbo and stuff soo you could get more hp out of the engine

i havent driven these cars but me dad had them all ;p

I drive a 1971 Nissan Bluebird 1600/Datsun 510, which the 1969 verision was in Gran Turismo 4. The 510 was one of the first cars to feature an independent rear suspension. I would really like to see it in Gran Turismo 5, because it is also a really fun car to drift and do a rally on.

in my country holland it gots 225 i think we had the st200 2.5 v6

The ST200 was a 2.5 V6 and it had 200hp in every country. The clue is in the name. For reference the car was built in Belgium and shipped all over Europe in the same spec.

The 225hp variant was only the 3.0 V6 in the Mk3 ST220. Here's the one I owned:

No full GT release has ever not included the ability to chip cars - though it wasn't in GT5P, GT4P or GTC.

So we can safely say that it will be included.

Then that'd be a post for the GT5 Car Wishlist. If the car (and its variants) weren't already on it. Which it is.

I think "your" has become a "weeeell, close enough" in this thread - with people including cars their family used to own. So one you used to actually own yourself is slightly closer to the thread topic

Regarding the thread topic, I don't have a car. My father owns a Ford Fiesta (definitely a Mk5 from the 2002 and on, judging by the pictures in Wikipedia.). I have to ask him someday the precise model. Once again, regarding the topic, it doesn't deserve to be in GT5. Though it would be greatly appreciated, given the fact I could drive the car in the game. 👍

One of my cars is in the other isn't but should be. I have a E46 330i Touring and a NA (Mk1) MX5 1.6. Audi have various cars with saloon and estate versions so why not BMW. Not that the E46 was in in anything other than M3 form.
