Is Your Car in Gran Turismo, and Does Your Car Deserve to be in GT5?

Whatever floats your boat... personally I'd rather they have more cars that are designed for going quicker - rather than cars designed to carry children.

Then again - they did have the Espace F1 in GT2 (was it 2 or 3?)

But that's my point for including it... it was designed to go quick from day one, but also to be able to ocasionaly "carry children" as you say (doing both is not advisable).

That's what a HSV is for, seats 5 large blokes comfortably (therefore children more than comfortably) and hauls arse as quick as an M3.:sly:

DC2 Type R Integra - It's kind of a GT hero, Hardcore street car

Was always the first car i bought in the GT games, lots of power for cheap!! :D

I've got a mate with one of those... sadly the bespoke tyres by Bridgestone are now out of production for it...

He's importing some Yokahoma's that are going to the be tyre of choice for the BTCC.

The point for me is not to drive kids or 2, 3, 5, 7 or 9 people around fast... Is that it is able to do both. It's a 7 seater but it's still sporty and I think it deserves to be in the game...

As for HSV, I love almost every car you guys have in Australia. Including UTEs. That too should be in the game. May not be fast around corners but it sure is fun.

There's room for all kind of cars in GT5. Everything from little Fiat 500's up to Le Mans winners. It's called variety and the last time I looked it was a primary feature of the GT series.

<<<< No idea wtf that name is about. lol Apparently this was tied to my email haha. Registered in '02 and haven't made a single post.

I'd of course like it if my car was in the game. Which it kinda is. Not like I have anything crazy unique done to it. 480hp/430tq.

except the fact that you apparently have a 4 pot (dunno if it's the 2 or 2.5L) that's making 480hp.

Something quite substantial would have to be done to get those figure, regardless if it's at the wheels or not.

Not really, the Sti comes with 300hm or so, dialling up the boost a bit would make a further gain, 450 isn't so extreme.

yeah, but with winding up the boost comes the need for other parts to be changed in order for it to be sustainable.

Well yes, but it depends on what extent you dial dial up the boost, the standard turbo could be dialled up to significant boost most likely but at a cost, but a few more PSI is cheep and easy to do with upgrading anything else.

An upgraded inter-cooler, re-flashed ECU and dialled up boost, perhaps new injectors could probably reach 450hp without too much stress on other parts of the car. It wouldn't cost the earth either.

well it also depends an what you'd call crazy and unique. Another thing I s'pose is that this is probably a 2.5L because it's left hand drive (probably America) but in Oz, I'd say 350hp is tweaking, 400hp is tuning and 450+hp would be modifying. IMO

A front-engined NSX is absolutely rare.

No, a front engined NSX doesn't exist, and if it does it'd have to have a very small engine, else it wouldn't fit.

Well, the Honda FR-V has three seats in the front and three in the back, so that... no, that wouldn't race, but what about a chipped E320 CDI? puts out nearly 300bhp and over 300lb ft of tourque :)

If I could have anything at all in this game though, there is only one car I could possibly choose:

Aston Martin One-77. Over 700bhp, over 220 mph, £1.2m. EPIC.

We have wishlists, thanks. This is a thread for whether your car is/has been in a GT game and whether it deserves inclusion in GT5.

Sorry, I forgot that I'm the only one to have mentioned cars that I'd like. That would be apart from the post directly above mine and numerous others, of course... whoops!

And I forgot I've only made a similar post 3 times in this thread. Whoops!

My 2001 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Turbo. GT4 had the Bora, shame GT5P did'nt. Can only hope GT5 will have the American Jetta.

That's not the only bit of 'Shopping done to that poor little thing.

Jeep Cherokee Wide-Trac Laredo (full size Jeep) - It deserves it, but it will most likely not be there.

Dodge Neon ACR (1995); I don't know if it is, but it was back in the day. Hopefully it'll be there again.
