tomorow pd ll release new seasonal events, and i think they ll include the new track and other stuff Inside!!!
:)

Somehow that would make sense. It seems unlikely to release a new track without proper events on this track. The new seasonals would be a good opportunity, unless they add some races to the career mode. But they could have added seasonals with the new track yesterday already (when the first seasonals expired). Or they can release the new content anytime without consideration of any active seasonals ...
Tomorow is just a good guess. As good as any other day in the near future. Hopefully ...

It's sort of the last moderately rational time to do it. But then, there's only two days left in the month so the chances are at worst 50:50.

I wanna puke... This wait is nauseating... Reading commentary here doesn't help, as it's pointless banter which explains nothing factual and only increases the anxiousness (or anxiety).

What are they doing over there @ Polyphony Digital?

At least give us an update?

Next time they announce something, they should really consider giving it a proper month and day, and not just this "expect it in [insert approximate month here]" business...

It would've been better to announce it for a date in mid March that exceeded the approximate release window by a decent but not too large amount. Then if/when they met their actual expected release window, they could've been like "Guuuueeeeeessssss whaaaaaat GT Faaaaaaaaans!!!!" :: Pow!!! :: hit 'em with that unexpectedness...

[Cue nonsensical behavior]

Half of the complaining would be had, and instead of disappointed bashing from over-critical fans, they'd likely receive an uproar of cheers for the unexpected "early" gift, which they expected to be ready around that time anyways but allowed for some breathing room in case of a mishap.

Too soon for all this? Maybe. But if you were to invite someone on a trip dated for "this summer", best believe they wouldn't expect to be going on vacation just 2 or less days before the 1st day of autumn/fall...

Ugh... I just wanna find Kaz, and shake him... :irked::confused::banghead:

I'm just predicting but what if there is an update on March 4, Which is the start of the Geneva Auto Show, and March 4 is on a Tuesday!

Possible, but considering the fact that this is a completely unrelated track release and not a car release, I find it unlikely. If it's not within 2 days, I'm thinking more like 2 weeks.

Maybe between the 11th and 15th.

I'd honestly be happy with some info @ this point, this speculation is tiring.

Hopefully they are working on a major update... or a VGT.

This is more of a fact than something to hope for... The VGT list is far from full, and the game is in dire need of many updates.

Here's a little video I made back before GT6 came along and kicked up the dust. The video isn't relevant, although I still quite like it :sly: Its the song I used as a soundtrack that's most relevant to this thread. Give it a listen... (and watch... or just close your eyes if you don't want to watch.) Lyrics here

Liked for the song :D

You're my favorite mod so far, just thought I would say.

It's a sad state of affairs over at PD and the only reason I'm playing gt6 is too collect cars
Other games do online racing/customizing/livery/physics better so I'm over there more.
Pd does model there cars extremely we'll which is why I like collecting.

Yep. That's what I've been hoping. 2 of the 5 seasonals expire tonight and the leaderboard registration for the last 3 seasonals also expire tonight. Since you can only obtain paint chips and prize money once, if nothing is added to the seasonals, there will be the equivalent of nothing for people to do in the seasonals. This is the obvious time when I expect an update to seasonals at a minimum...but really would like to see more.

Long post
Fair enough. Except the point about facebook. They (facebook and twitter) are totally different means of contact(indirect VS direct). Furthermore, in my mind tweeting wouldn't be an 'attack' or 'harassment' as you put it, more of making him aware that there is a problem, then him actually acknowledging it to the public. I even said kindly worded tweet, but you turned it into something that would be vile and poisonous. :boggled:

Lol, but I actually like the VGT's!!! They're one of the few primarily new features GT6 has on offer that separates it from all other games in the racing genre!
I like them also, but it would be nice if PD would worry about giving us the finished game with all the features listed on the box before concentrating on more fictional cars or tracks (fictional or otherwise)...just my opinion, your mileage may vary :)

NA
In McHenry County here, so technically still up for debate by a minority of the locals if it even counts has a Chicago suburb, but now that we're clearly and definitely wildly off topic......:gtpflag:

(There are also only 9 crickets left if anyone is counting. I assume nobody is, but the internet is full of weirdos, so one never knows.)
My buddy just moved to mchenry, right on the border with johnsburg. We're about the same distance west wise but you're definitely more north.

Ok, what if GT built a console specifically tailor made for whatever the game needs so they won't have ANY issues what so ever, and sold it separately from the disk. It could/should be simple. No browsers or netflix or anything. Just the game would start when you turn on the system. Any set-up needed would be in-game.

1) How many of you people would buy it ?
2) For the tech/business savvy - how much would it cost as a product to buy if it was mass-produced ?

Note: if you guys want me to post it in a new thread I will. Just thought I'd pass the time.
Buy a console solely for GT? Never again.

Thanks. 👍 Flattery like that is basically bribery, though = 6 month ban. :D

That color shift paint job really suites that car well. Nice video.👍

To be honest, I'm not interested in tracks as much as cars. I'm also not interested in fantasy concept VGT cars. I'd rather see more cars along the lines of the BMW M4. Cars that actually EXIST and are used in the real world. If the only DLC cars are going to be a load of VGTs, I'd rather skip them because I'll never use them unless I absolutely have to.
At the end of the day, there are more than enough cars in GT6 to keep me busy for years anyway :-)

Yes. Also like the new WRX, etc. The VGT project just doesn't get my motor revving, prefer the real life autos as well as the cockpit view.

Will say that neither more cars or tracks address the fundamental problems. It's the gameplay options that make the games longevity. Give the user the options to use their creativity for the gameplay they want.
