It's now March; where is our promised community update?

Who cares when it comes now? It's seemingly overdue and since that's the case, it's annoying to have to wait this long for the online features among other things (course maker!!! hopefully it's as great as we think it will be).

The track at the very least should have been released/sold by now along with other tracks/cars. That's what we believe; the single track won't be the only content made available as paid DLC. I think most of us are thinking there will be a pack with the Zahara? track. Maybe they're waiting until they think the course maker is ready to release that track to tell us what is precisely possible to create.

Eh, who cares? I'm bored from waiting and while doing (some of) the time trials.

Funny you mention that, because in Japan, March is "the Month of New Life."
February is "the Month of Changing Clothes"...

So maybe it does make sense they're waiting close to March to put out the update

I'm surprised it has taken this long for them to put out the community features. The GT6 section of another forum I go to is already dead, I think i'm the only member there who still cares about GT.

Ironically, this is a great time for my home wi-fi to start acting up , whether the update comes or not, it won't have any influence on my current GT projects and, therefore, what little enjoyment I get from GT currently. I can 'keep up' on this thread (on phone) while getting a few laughs out of watching this all fall-apart.

That said however, if the update does comes very, very late, it'll still be a very somber reminder of just how 'in over their heads' PD may be, and only 2 months in, how wonderful .

I also don't buy the 'hacks/hybrids being cause of delay' BS, until we see an official statement from PD (fat chance right ? ), I doubt all production would come to a halt for just that, re-assign 1 team or something maybe, but not a full-on focus shift.

Hacks/hybrids would have no effect on 95% of the staff I agree. Car and track modellers, sound engineers etc. aren't pulled off their duties to work on programming. There are also parameters within the game to control this, in TT's too. Simultaneous PP/HP/Weight limits kill all the overpowered hybrids.

I agree with this. There is no way that PD would shift their focus to fixing the hacking issue, which took them... 6 months? to fix in GT5. And in addition to that, right now it seems like less than 10 people have successfully modded/hacked GT6 cars, and have yet to hit online.

Yup, that's it. Scrolling message at homepage still reads 'new seasonals 13/2' and notification screen has no mention of seasonal update either.

Actually, in my experience. I was on the programming team when I got hired, then I got switched to the modeling/rigging team... Then I got switched back to the programming team...

I'm trying to remain patient. Really I am. But at this point, I'm actually considering just giving up again and selling off my PS3 stuff and picking up Forzavista 5 while I wait on PCars. Greenbucks and the crew at T10/MS have screwed up Forza in so many ways I can't count. But, at least they pretty much do what they say they're going to do. Even if I hate most of what they say they're going to do at least they do it. They don't dangle a bunch of empty promises in front of people for months on end. Which is the sinking feeling I'm starting to get again here.
