It's now March; where is our promised community update?

Incessant complaining, coupled with non-stop bickering and off topic nonsense. I'll reopen this in the morning.

Until then, everyone breath and relax. The world doesn't revolve around PD and I promise it won't stop spinning if an update is late.

EDIT: This thread being closed does NOT mean you should find other threads to post complaints about the update.

Edit Edit: Can we play nice now, please?

Ok, so I'm not complaining when I say this, but I am truly wondering what is going on with this update. Are they having trouble with that large of a track? The thing that is rather odd is that the track looked almost finished over a month ago, so I wonder what happened.

It must be something else they're dealing with.

It wouldn't hurt to inform us though... although this is PD.

I think that when Jordan or someone else of GTPlanet will have the opportunity to interview Kaz, he should ask him why PD don't comunicate with us. I really want to know what It'll be the answer...

We'll get the infamous Kaz laugh. That's about it.

So while he's communicating with us, we should ask him why he's not communicating with us? I'm as frustrated as the next guy about it, but I'm also realistic. PD never has done much more than vague press releases, a few game shows, and vague, general information on their website. They do this because they've sold 70 million copies and it works, why change things up when your formula is working? Nothing will change with PD until the sales begin to fall that's just the way it is. If we continue to buy and support GT6, GT7P, GT7 it will continue on just like this...:banghead:

I would love to have someone ask Kaz, respectfully but point blank: long-time diehard fans of the series are frustrated with the lack of communication from you/PD. Will you open some sort of regular development dialogue with your fans to let them know about progress on future updates and new releases in the series?

I suspect Kaz would say something to the effect of "be sure to check the GT website for news" or "we care about our fans and are looking at all options" but I would love to go through the exercise to get him on record for why he keeps us, his paying customers, in the dark, and to make sure he knows many of us do not appreciate it.

He's already on record:lol:. They've been doing the same thing for 15 years how much more of a record do you want? He needs to come out and say something vague for you to be 100% convinced that Kaz is vague? Kaz is vague, there I said it:lol:

Or, it's "Technically possible..."
 Well, in this case the interviewer will have to insist to get a clear answer. I really think it's a crucial point because I won't be so frustated if PD says: "Sorry but we have some problems fixing bugs bla bla...". I can understand that they have some problems but I can't understand their silence.

P.S. Sorry for my bad English.

Completely true, but that was acceptable practice 15 years ago. It is not today. I am just trying to politely phrase my real question, which is why not give us something - some form of regular contact, even as simple as a monthly state-of-the game update? Why ignore the people that are financing your vision?

Do you guys think we`ll get the speed test back? I know its not a really important think but... it would be nice.
The speed test was one of the best tools we had to test our tunes, just another item we had in GT5 that was removed for GT6! People are complaining about wanting new fictitious cars and tracks, I would just like to have a finished game with the features we used to have and the features that are listed on the box I paid full price for...is that asking too much

I don't mean to harp on it but this is one of the biggest issues I have with GT6. I want that track creator soooo bad. It was something I really, really enjoyed in GT5 and the promise of what the new track generator would be like in GT6 had me so very excited. And now to have GT6 without any track creator... ughh.. I'd probably pass out if we get the new & improved track creator this week! Dang it, I need to keep reminding myself to not get excited... :indiff:

I think I have some tips on how to enjoy Gran Turismo 6 without getting fustrated that there is no update this month:

1. Contribute on photomode forums on gtplanet. This could be a good idea to kill time because if there is one thing that kept me playing the game since I first bought it is the photomode and posting photos on gtplanet.

2. Create videos. Another way that would make the wait for the next update less painful is to make videos on the game. It is recommended however to actually get friends to watch your stuff because it is boring to just spend time on videos that nobody will watch. One example is to create stop motion animation with GT6's photomode.

3. Actually get friends to play online with you. Even though it is sad that GT6's online lobbies are "dumbed down" compared to GT5, I did have a lot of fun playing with my friends online because I wasn't playing with 13 year olds that mess around with X1s and my game has no lag.

These are just tips and if you disagree with me, then I guess its gonna be painful waiting for that update.

For me i don't care if the promised features come late as long as they are free of charge ,cause im not paying not even a cent more for an unfinished game .
