I'm gonna make a rule that if somebody doesn't attend two races without notifying me, or is inactive on the thread/site without letting us now I'll let their space go to someone else. There's already a couple of guys that signed up for this that haven't been online for almost a week, and it's unfair to keep our reserves waiting. I'll send them all a PM after tonights race and warn them, if there's no reply by next week I'll drop them 👍

I am also hoping everything will work out perfectly tonight. It will be a good opportunity to know the driving style of many of you, also have an idea on how skilled you are. We just have to hope PSN will not kick everyone unadvisedly.

Just please bear in mind it's my first time as room host. I will ask Tom to advise all drivers of necessaries but I will set up room and regs etc.

I expect a number of FR's when I get home from work so will add you all.

This will help iron out all potential issues before the two season openers, which is great.

And to dds, I know you signed up for the US series but can you make the UK time every week? If so it would be great as we could free up another spot on the US side and fill another spot on the UK side. Just a thought

Fellow Americans, What are you turning at Madrid with the regulations? I'm in the 1.07s I think.

You did this with the regulations?

The first time I went out and practiced I forgot about the regs. and was turning 1:07s but when I changed them the best I could do was a high 1:09 with comfort mediums.

I need more practice.

I will look into this matter, Tom. I am not sure I can, but there might be a possibility. But don't count me changing... US series time suits me a lot better. I understand US series is overcrowded and I will change if I am able to do so.

I won't be able to make it for the spa race today. I was wondering if there are a few other guys from the US that can't make it either? If so does anybody want to do an informal race at spa today? We'll run the same format they are running today in the preseason, only at a more convenient time for the US guys. I hope to race some of you guys soon.

Ah okay. The qualifying session may be extended to an hour today anyway, race start 9:30 BST. This is just so I can actually make it, last minute family plans grrr

Knelly, I think a complete time shift this late on is gonna be problematic, so open the room as usual at 8, Reset for Quali at 8:30 and Race start is tentative 9-9:30.

And remember guys, don't exit the pits during qualifying to alter settings or you'll lose the times you posted, that's what practice is for 👍

Just had my first ever practice on Spa with the indy settings, (6 laps) it is great fun and congrats on finding such a nice balance for the FGT 👍

Room Open Guys,

Couple of things to remember:
Weight at 725kg
Top Speed 205 and can't change 7th, but any others are fine.
Mandatory Pit Stop to either Comforts or Hards (opposite of starting tyres)
Pace Lap 70, 50 round last chicane.

May delay the start time a little to allow a couple more in the room.

Just to add to your post, as well as not changing max speed (the one at the bottom right) from 205mph and leaving 7th gear alone, don't adjust the final gear either. Do whatever you want with gears 1-6 though.

The tyre rule requires a minimum of 2 laps on each compound.
