I think that even shooting brake would look great. But still this could easily be better than CLS or A7

Maybe the facelift model will cause the old ones to drop in price and then I still won't be able to afford one

Updated F-Type revealed

Includes new 400 Sport model, only being produced for a year

R model (pictured on the right) loses rear-wheel-drive variant, gains a different front bumper design

SVR variants receive modest visual updates, pretty much just new lights

The 400 Sport looks fantastic. The new bumper, rims, exhaust layout and rear diffuser are what make it beautiful. But it could also be the paint, as I'm a sucker for silver paints.

The R version doesn't look as good though IMO.

Are there any pics of the facelifted base model and S model, or are they going to look the same as the 400 Sport?

I agree about the R, that's the only front fascia I'm not a fan of. the standard model and SVR versions still look great.

The S model does not exist anymore but it has been replaced by the R Dynamic (sits above the entry-level V6), which pretty much looks like the 400 Sport.

I have no complaints with the 4-cylinder variant. In fact it could be the most balanced and best handling car in the range with its lighter front end.

Also with the F-Type being the closest rival for the upcoming BMW Z5 and Toyota Supra, The £50k starting price of the F-Type should encourage BMW and Toyota to undercut that price tag with their 4-cylinder (most likely with 252hp) variant.

I can't add anything to this. 👍

Not sure how I feel about the new lights, the rounded (and split?) headlights make me think the new F-Type is going for a more retro look than the current model.

Jaguar will swap the current V6 to a hybrid inline 6 that is already in the 2020 Range Rover producing 395 hp and 406 lb-ft. It'll be a "3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 with a beefed-up electric starter motor that can aid the engine during high loads and recover energy under braking and coasting. There's also an electric compressor that helps build boost pressure before revs rise and the conventional turbocharger takes over."

For the interior, there'll be a new digital instrument cluster a larger touchscreen display.

Hopefully it'll have a straight six rasp and not the pops and bangs exhaust-led sound of the V6.

Mk.1 Audi R8 immediately came to mind seeing that face.

It might not be an exact likeness but I feel there are similarities.

I always considered the V6 the best sounding of the range due to those pops and bangs but then I'm a bit of a pleb.
