With some of the incidents going on this season, I'm on the fence of even participating if we run heavy damage! 👍👍 for dropping two rounds.

The heavy damage should lower incidents, at least in the long run. People that cause incidents have a very good chance of messing up their own cars as well. It usually makes people a little more careful imo.
But again, that's just a personal preference for me. I'm fine with the light damage as it is right now.

I really don't want to race around some of the guys here with heavy damage on. Also, some guys have issues with lag around others too. That's asking for trouble.

Just spitballing an idea here. Could we instead add in ANOTHER championship? Like have championship for highest points (no dropped races), have a team championship, and have a drivers average points championship (where it's your total points divided by the number of races you finished)? Showing the guys who were quick but couldn't do all the races?

If it was IRL, Id go with heavy damage lol, but one thing we need to consider is lag (especially) and how differently some cars get their speed.
For the lag, I can safely say that Ive been a victim once or twice in other series and I do not want it to happen.
As for how differently cars get their speed, the RX7 and Gara have great entry speed, but the Lexus and Subaru come off the corner very well.
Put both together and it might be a recipe for disaster. So no for me.
As for dropping rounds, Im going to say yeah even though I will be disadvantaged by it 👍 👍
And Im totally up for a teams championship!!!

Zach well definitely have a team championship fight in season 2, and I'm very open to other championships as well, but I'm a 32yr old man with a job, girlfriend, daughter, school, gym comp, and now a 3 car karting racing team all at the same time and with Alefin leaving (which I dnt blame you)ill be heading up the op calculations & spread-sheeting all by myself so I'm sure I wont be as diligent as Afelin, but it will get done in a timely matter.
I would like to run heavy damage because I love how people are even more cautious going in to chicanes and with their over taking. This game definitely feels more realistic, and the championship points super get shaken up too do to unscheduled pitting but we spend a lot of time side by side and the lagging we experienced already in season 1 would make this a
setting to perform. Sorry guys but I'm sure heavy damage is out for now at-least.

Who has had lag this season then? I'm curious as i haven't seen or been directly involved in any incidents caused by lag.
If the transition into heavy damage is ever going to be made you should announce it a full season before so people know whats coming and could try harder to have more controlled aggression in races.

I like Corvettes so Im not going to complain AT ALL.
But for paritys sake, aren't its downforce numbers and tire grip too high?

They're equal to the GT300's in d/f numbers. You only have to give them more weight. The R8 is 1300kg as is. So 390hp would put it right around the pack if were speeding the cars up. I was able to get high 1:39's at Tokyo Reverse with it on softs. That'd be about a second faster than the cars now. Then you have to remember we were using Mediums. With softs these things will go even quicker.
