June 2023 GT7 update prediction

My admittedly vague guesses:

-At least three new cars. They may or may not be from the data-mined list.

-At least one new Extra Menu, likely (but not guaranteed) to tie in with whichever new cars we get. One motif I'd like to see for an Extra Menu would be "V12 Lamborghini Models".

-More World Circuit events, likely building off of previous events, unless we get a new Bonus Menu. In that case, we'd get an all-new trio of events, which likely will get more rounds in the future. For example, we've already had at least one new Super Formula round get added after the Bonus Menu that introduced the event. Considering the 100th LM24 will have taken place by the time this update is added, I wouldn't rule out a "Gr.1 Prototype Series" round getting added for Le Mans.

SUGO is definitely one of those few tracks that has never been in any GT game but still feels very Gran Turismo-like, even more than Autopolis I'd say. In a parallel universe, I could easily see SUGO being featured in the series since GT4.

Maybe we are getting this, the new Toyota GR H2 Racing Concept Le Mans car?

End usually.
I mean, by the time we get them, it’s not really using the update for the whole of that month. Of course, many feel it’s apropos because the update usually can be done on the day or two. However, it should be the first week of the month.

Considering the timing a car related to the 24h of Le Mans would be very appropriate, but that would make sense, be topical and fit a logical theme, so we know for certain that Polyphony won't add a single one of them.

Expect some quirky tuner car that doesn't fit a single car class in the game, one that costs a billion credits and was made in the stone age, a Porsche and maybe one requested and relevant modern car that would be a good addition if it weren't for the fact it appeared in every other racing game 7 years ago when it was actually new.

True, but imagine PD saying "ayo it's Le Mans month, here, have this one"

I'd be surprised and worried

Still no updated Super GT GT500 cars. It’s been three months since the first race of the 2023 season. Okayama was the first round, with SUGO & Motegi are September and November, respectively. If car modelling is 3-6 months, I’d say the thre GT500 could be ready by end of this Month. Knowing PD‘s unpredictability, they’d pair those cars with Circuit of the Americas, in the update.

It's wishful thinking, but how about a series of events and a themed car or two based on the Gran Turismo movie? Watch the movie and then re-enact the races on your PS4/ PS5 with the same courses and the same cars. That might finally give some meaning to the licence tests.

I'm expecting:

-a new track (maybe Sugo or Hungaround)
-4 new cars
-4-6 new World Circuits events with 1-2 new cafe menus
-Better lobby stability and improvements
-Some new HUD VR features
-Bug fixes

Hoping for Sugo or Motegi.
Also hoping no supercars or racecars, but more roadcars. Like EVO IX, STI (GRB or GDB 05 or 07), also new M2 would be nice.
And of course more events involving road cars.

What, you want more GT-Rs. I would rather have the GT2 class '98 Viper. Even if I can build it already. Now what we lack is the rest of the GT2 cars. Like the S7-R, Panoz GTR-1 or, the Lester thing. All where here before.
Not GT-Rs, but Skylines, sure. I would vastly prefer to have the R31 or R30 road cars before some other stupid race car I'll never use.

Kind of a wishlist:
• v12 new engine swap for the xj220
• removal of ticket system
• Delta S4
• Lexus LFA
• new gr2

One thing to note is that regardless of if the update is on the 22nd or the 29th, there will still be at least one Gr.3 round left of Manufacturers. So I think it's highly unlikely that there will be a car in that class in the update, since I don't think PD would risk that car being immediately dominant at the remaining race(s).
