How much hp does they have now

I've heard people say 10-14 hp.

This would have to be one of the best days of my life!

Nope. That was Sunday in Canada; I took my Impreza to Mosport. Sorry, you can have the best day of your life, but it's also the best day of my life... But, it was already Monday in Australia. :indiff: Timezones...

Well Done! 👍

This. I wish I could win trophies.

You confused the hell out of me with that comment, and I am very easily confused :dopey:

I also wished I could win trophies. I can now. It took 2 and half years but a bit of luck and consistency paid off :)
Now I have to get a trophey in the Power Series to prove I'm there. That's 2 or 3 weeks away.

I'm also fluent in French, Spanish and German, you'll have to excuse my confusing talk for being confusing, I'm sorry.

And as for this "one of" comment, 👍 I'm not even going to ask because I think it involves more privacy... :sly:

No need to apologize :)
Impressive that you can speak 4 languages!

Not quite sure what you mean here. I was referring to my 1 month holiday in the USA, almost 2 years ago, and all the wonderful places I have been to. I thoroughly enjoy traveling to see new places. Also, all the motorsport events I've been to.

Thanks. :)

And, I won't explain any further. If what you're saying involves a trip to the USA and doesn't involve a bedroom, more power to you.

I finally found photos worth posting, of me within my kart. I just felt like posting that.

Also, expect a video of an almost flip. :scared: Would a poorly positioned axle (you know, 48" wide?) cause an almost flip?

Oh, and I got a 7th place finish, too. :)

The #88 kart and I are almost always bumper-to-bumper, too. That's good fun.

It's a nice picture. But, is that really a Jeep sticker-grille on it? Uh-oh...

And gogatrs thinks my Birel stickers are bad.

It doesn't :(

I URL'd it for you ;)

I massified it for you:

Well, I actually have no idea. I believe it's correct, but only according to the parts supplier, who is also the guy I bought the kart from; Collison Racing say they (or, he) set the kart up for a guy of my height using the pedal adjustments.

Just get rid of that Birel sticker and you're looking good! :dopey:

Tsk tsk, CRG is a bit overpriced. Don't worry, I'm taking the Birel brakes off soon. And, eventually, I'll be awesome enough to afford Praga.

Today's race day couldn't have been any more 🤬 up than it already was. 3 people went to hospital. There was a crash in every single god damn race. Some races were bad enough to be red flagged 3 times and every race was red flagged at least once! In my 3rd heat there was a massive crash that almost all karts were involved in and obstructed the whole track (7 karts damaged to the point where retiring for repairs was necessary including mine, 4 of them written off) and only 9 karts remained in a good shape to carry on in the race.

Someone, please pinch me. I must be having a nightmare that I can't awaken from :guilty: .

What track do you race at and WOW that has never happened where I race (Teesside Autodrome)

This happened when I raced today at Rye House and I have a feeling this one's going in the history books :scared: .

Not surprised! Went testing at Stretton for the second time (first time on this layout) and I was 2.4s of the fastest drivers fastest lap. Not bad for a first run ;)

Thanks for fixing that up for me ;)
It wa a jeep sticker that my father slapped on the front after I was run over. It came off in the Pre-final at Bendigo. It is now an Arrow kart sticker from the X1 range, which my father slapped on there, again.

Sounds like an awful day. :(
I hope the Clerk of the course gave everyone a talking to. No need for that.
Better luck next time!

I'm uploading the video of my almost flip. :scared:

Cool! Good moment to get on camera!
It's a freaky feeling when that happens. Makes for a pretty cool photo/video! :)

We had once that 8of the 9 people crashed , that was a strange race

I've only been in one crash this whole season; I've got talent in avoiding crashes. If I were in that race, I might've won! (sloppy way to win though)

That's a lot of kerb!

:scared: Had nothing to do with the kerb at all! I kid you not, I didn't touch the kerb, my kart binded up in a weird way. I'm not used to tuning my own kart, so I am learning. Immediately after the race, I talked to the winner of the race, "what am I doing wrong, so I don't die?"

We instantly looked at axle width, I must've been running 47", instead of at least 48". I'm now running 49", and I'm not on two wheels anymore. Here's hoping that's the magic fix.

Thank-you!

I don't want to say that I enjoyed it, but, finding out that there's a video of me almost flipping makes me feel like a bit of a bad:censored: and it's a positive feeling not feeling "wimpy"or "boring."

And, as long as you don't take your Jeep off-roading, I don't think it's too bad.

Mel, your kart looks awesome. Glad you didn't go over, I've seen it happen before and its really scary.

Yeah... When you look up, and you see someone falling out of their kart above you, yeah, you worry for the guy. I've never tipped. Not yet, though I'm not planning on it, either.

And thanks for the compliments. :) I don't think you'd want to send your kart north of the border for a sticker kit, but mine were done at Creative Edge Kart Decals in Kitchener, ON. I enjoyed the work they did, matching my kart with my helmet, and I ended up finding out that the cheapest racing suit I could find was blue. Perfect!

You guys were posting all your cool pictures, so I figured I'd add some of mine!

Darn, two strokes look so much better with that white smoke everywhere.

Edit: what in the world are you pointing at?

Anyone ever flipped a go kart before? What was it like and if you felt any pain, what was it like on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the same pain you'd feel if someone lightly pinched your ear and 10 for the same pain you'd feel if you jumped off a 10 story building and against all odds survived).

I have a feeling fate is going to roll my kart over and write it off soon :scared: :scared: :scared: ...

I have, it hurts, but you get through on adrenaline. Just try to get out from underneath it as soon as you can. Or just jump out before it lands, that avoids most pain.

Luckily, at my track there is little place to gain enough speed to roll the kart, however, it can be done! :scared:

Just heard news that my kart's clutch has gone after my previous race. And it's going to cost £300 to fix. Nice.

This is the umpteenth time that my kart has broken down 👎
