R.I.P. GT franchise. It was nice knowing you since defenders doesn't want me and others helping you to improve.
I'm hoping that was sarcasm? "Helping you to improve" by arguing with people on the internet.

I'm not. I'm explaining why you aren't really helping to improve the game.
Not just me, but others as well. It's just Kaz refuses to acknowledge them. For crying out loud he didn't learn anything from the criticisms throughtout GT5/6 did he?

I don't hate it, although I'm liking it less and less. As I've said hundreds of times when i'm forced to defend my opinion, I want the GT series to return to what I see as former glory in GT1-GT4 days. Including standard cars on PS4 is nothing something I see as a step towards that. I would have hoped most people felt the same way and were somehow able to influence PD to change their decision. Obviously not, people here are instead happy for GT to stagnate and continue with mixed quality.

No offense Samus, but this looks very similar to the moaning about those with contrasting opinions that you so often decry.

Where's the livery editor? Where's the better AI? Where's the better customzation? Why are standard cars coming back? etc etc etc.
I agree with most of what you say. I want all of those things too. How ever, I don't have any problem with standard cars being in the game. Some look terrible, yes, however... I've had a lot of fun on GT5/6 that I wouldn't have otherwise had given they didn't put them in. There is a happy medium, where they could get rid of many of the duplicates though.

If the standard cars are like the quality of RUF cars, sure, but... :indiff:

The criticism you and Samus give isn't really that valid. Samus dislikes everything and you flip-flop all over the place.

@Samus can perfectly well defend himself. However I feel the vitriol directed his way is unfair. He's entitled to his opinion on a game many people (including him) feel strongly about. His points are normally thoughtfully put together and often constructive. Some people of differing opinions could do with learning how not to get upset when conversing with someone with an alternate, perfectly valid opinion that often echoes others thoughts. He just beats many people to making those points as he's on GTPlanet 25 hours a day.

It's probably the echo that does it

that does it

does it

it

it
But seriously, I like Samus and his detailed interior view.

That's the thing, it isn't a legitimate problem for many, if not most, here.

The ability to excuse something because it doesn't necessarily bother you, does not make it less of a problem than it actually is. Again, using assets that apparently were captured in 1999 (we'll just stick to my original findings of 2004 for consistency's sake) for a game that comes out in 2015/16/17 is a problem.

Besides that point, using the term "butthurt" as vehemently as most do around here screams of an inability to properly express oneself, and is no different that automatically dismissing something as "arcade", calling someone a fanboy, or any other such nonsense.

That was the point of my original post.
