How is it not EXACTLY the same? I have a reason for not liking Monza and want it taken out, you have a reason for not liking standards and want them taken out.

The reason. I don't want them taken out JUST because I don't like them. I want them taken out because they are factually inferior quality to the rest of the game and also technically inferior to 2014 modeling quality. Those factors are nothing to do with my personal feeling, they're facts.

Samus I get you don't like the standard cars in the PS4. I don't either but I think you have made your point. All you are doing now is digging into a deeper hole.

Your sense of entitlement is strong. No one cares what you want. It's a stupid idea. :)

And what you do too. Photomode isn't minor when PD constantly features it in GT selling points. If it was a minor feature it wouldn't of been as revamped as it was in GT5.

I didn't say it was minor, I took issue with you claiming features pertaining to the core of the game and it's number one intention were minor whilst you moaned that an 'extra' side feature was being neglected.

Sorry, I thought this was a free forum to say what we want within line of the AUP. My mistake. Oh, and what is a stupid idea?

Ironic how you used the term "moaned" about that. You have been going on nonstop tat you want 60% of the games cars taken out of the game. Hahahaha logic.

Cute!:)

And the idea I'm referring to as silly, was the fact that you wanted the standards removed. It's humorous.

No no, them being factually inferior is your reason for not liking them. The fact that they are inferior doesn't have to do with your feelings, but that fact does effect your personal feelings.

You just don't like them because they're inferior and want them taken out of the game.

I just don't like the layout of Monza and want it taken out of the game.

You may not like hearing it, but it's the same. You just think your reason is justified. Not that I'm blaming you for that, a lot of people do the same thing all the time.

The facts you cited are not enough to conclude these cars should be taken out. One thing is saying certain cars have inferior quality and how much: facts. Another is saying: this is the line where cars with an inferior quality will not make it. And that line is based in your personal feelings. Another not sound comment.

A 1969 Camaro is technically inferior to a 2014 Camaro.

The same laws of physics apply to both of them.

Yeah, they have teach me that to pour more money on them even though they have less feature, less content and less effort pour into them.

Yeah, is awesome to have 450 cars premium cars and 12 tracks, and pay in a monthly for content that was already produced before and is just getting introduce in the engine.
Quality >>>>>>> Quantity.

Watch out @Samus, their out to get you. :scared:

Why are you so concerned with the quality of a video game you hate?

I don't hate it, although I'm liking it less and less. As I've said hundreds of times when i'm forced to defend my opinion, I want the GT series to return to what I see as former glory in GT1-GT4 days. Including standard cars on PS4 is nothing something I see as a step towards that. I would have hoped most people felt the same way and were somehow able to influence PD to change their decision. Obviously not, people here are instead happy for GT to stagnate and continue with mixed quality.

So... we had the opportunity to ask kaz about when we would get the promised features, new cars and tracks, and other usefull questions but instead most of the questions were useless...

Sure, just as those lovely Night tracks on Forza, or the weather change, or the massive track variety, or the cars that are not totally being re-sell after being in FM4.

I'm going to say it again, and hope you understand.

Quality >>>>>>> Quantity.

Whoa, everyone is on full meltdown mode. I already read through the entire thread so no need to tell me what happened. I'm just gonna look at two points of interest.

some one please tell him not to put standard cars in GT7, unbelievable http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2...er&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialoomph

"I doubt that we'll be throwing away the standard cars," said Yamauchi. "Each car has its own fans. So I think we'll hang on to the archive. In the meanwhile, some of those cars we may be able to make into Premium cars as they become available - but basically we're more focussed on increasing the number of premium cars."

Where exactly does this "Confirm" that standards will be in GT7? For all we know, it more likely means they are hanging on to the data for each of those cars and not necessarily putting them all in GT7. I'm not believing it until I actually see it happen.

One interesting bit is that Kaz said this
I think there might be a misunderstanding there. I think I said "almost" every month. I also didn't say "DLC" per se, but that there would be an update almost every month.

On average we're going through one to two updates per month. So I don't think I have broken any promises. I think somewhere along the lines someone may have contorted my words. When you talk about things like Vision Gran Turismo as an example, we have over 30 cars that are going to be involved in that project and that was to be included in a year's time. So when you look at it, my saying that there would be content released almost every month is not too far from the truth.

But the Vision Gran Turismo cars, each car is made with great care at each of the manufacturers, and we can't control when those cars can be completed. So I ask for your understanding.

I don't think there is a misunderstanding at the end of this video

Ok, what a minute. First of all, that's Taku Imasake saying that, not Kaz. I realize they get their answers from him so I'm not taking his, but we haven't always gotten the correct answers from any Sony personnel and that video is the ONLY time I've seen where the "DLC Every month" comment was made (Unless there's a Article I missed somewhere of Kaz himself saying). I distinctly remember someone from SCEE saying something about GT that was not once even close to being true.

Overall, it seems like everyone is overreacting to the answers on Reddit. I know we want answers to some of the big questions, but I sure as hell wasn't looking to Reddit for any of them.

Seeing them in dealership and "racing" against them in single player breaks the immersion. It's like seeing a cameraman in the window reflection.

If you really must include them for fans and marketing purpose (1400 cars!) - please don't make me see them by default. Make it an option.

I would like a clarification on their implementation - can I choose not to see them at all ? That would be fine by me.

I simply want a game with the same level of detail across the board.

Sure, just as those lovely night tracks on a portion of GT tracks, or the weather change on a portion of tracks, or 3/4 of the total cars that are not totally being a re-sell after being in GT3, GT4, and GT5, and likely soon to be GT6.

At least Forza is consistent and has a sense of direction on what they want to do, even at the price of content cut. What they're doing is much better for the long run.

Actually, this is a really good point. We have no clue in what capacity the standard cars will make an appearance (if at all) He just said they are keeping the archive.
