Hmmm. Maybe we will be able to chose weather for tuscany cours maker tracks also. I don't expect thunderstorms there, but they could allow us to set weather slider between 0 and 20%. I dream of driving there like in rally special events.

Amen. This is really great news. It sounds sad when we're going nuts for reduced loading times, but let's admit it, GT5's loading times are EVERYWHERE AND THEY ARE HORRENDOUS!

How many times have I been pissed at the long wating between EVERY GOD DAMNED INPUT!?

This will make GT5 a lot better to me.👍

Am i the only one whose load times have been Ok for awhile now?

Take a look @ the icon with the tire and the water drop percentage. Looks like we're going to be able to use some of the tracks in a sunny day but with water on track like GT4 Tsukuba was... this will be great for photos, etc...

Oh yes taking photos with a wet track and a sunny sky will make for great photos.
Didn't GT4 also have SSR 11 that was wet but it didn't rain, looked really good on the ps2 at the time.

GT3 had a wet SSR5, GT4 was wet Tsukuba only.

And adjustable AI? Hell yes.
EDIT: Oh, arcade mode...

HUH? Standard Caterham, yet a detail interior? What gives?

I think open cockpit standards will have a small amount of detail since the interiors were technically already modeled (To an extent).

Uhh DLC will be announced soon... It will be the first DLC in my life :)

11th october? dang... What now? Cancel the preorder of FM4??? :/

I just can't wait to drive the Formula Gran Turismo and the open-cockpit LMP standard cars from the cockpit viewpoint.

That alone makes Spec 2.0 a great addition for me :D

Add to that the Toyota 7 & Chapparel 2J  👍

EDIT: wow! This thread went from page 167 to 189 in less then 7 hours

Yeah they deserved it after releasing 2 premium Fanatec wheels and then put an steering assist in simulation mode in... 👎

Forget all that people on this forum had me so pumped up for FM4 and the new and improved physics.... That's why I could floor the throttle of the 458 and loose no traction 👎 It seems to me the FM series is going more for the arcade group of folks. I'm really upset about the physics man I just don't get turn 10. Sorry back on topic.

You could still order it, but keep it sealed until GT5 DLC is announced. You can still sell it as new afterwards :D just kidding. :dunce:

Agreed.

Low quality models and low resolution textures that will become more apparent when people try it for themselves. Other standard cars will have the 'black frame cutout' as per GT-PSP but with a rear view and side mirror. Neither solution will have authentic, working gauges (e.g. speedometer) so the standard bumper-cam speedometer gauges are tacked on (overlay) at the bottom of the screen. It really is a "hook or by crook hack" and not the solution people actually wanted (upgrade standard to premium). For people who are desperate to drive 'interior view' these people may be satisfied with this solution but I don't think anyone else will be.

It would have been nice if Spec 2.0 included a bonnet cam as well I suppose.

I think that was the point of it.

Anyways do people who have twitter accounts, post up little thank yous and what not's @ his twitter or is it always asking for stuff?

Best patch/update ever in any game! And probably the new RM's are included in free Spec 2 and paid DLC will have all new vehicles. Great job PD!

Nearly burnout paradise trumps it. But very close.

I'm not a burnout fan BTW.

Why can't pd be like normal developers and tell us what the updates they will bring instead of us waiting the day it releases, it's not that hard is it?

A lot of developers keep things like this on the low, which is a smart move. Personally, I like to be surprised. I agree in some things PD do may be a bit "different", but this makes sense to me.
