That's kind of what amar212 had said. He said Sony and EA are close right now, and then he said "I'm just saying", and he has been pretty accurate with GT5 info in the past. I do find it strange that Forza 3 had Porsche, which they had to get the license agreement from EA, and now T10 and EA couldn't come to an agreement. It seems as though someone else made an agreement with EA.

I'm not sure if that would be possible, EA are known for blocking other developers from licenses they have, they will more or less stop at anything in most cases. There was a huge saga between Konami and EA over football licenses, EA was blocking Konami from obtaining certain licenses. There was also (this is little known because cricket and games don't really go) issues over EA having rights to the ICC World Cup which they exploited to stop another developer from making an Indian Premier League game.

A photo from Christophorus (The Prosche Magazine) regarding the Porsche 911 GT3 win at the 24 hour of Nurburgring. Clearly the relationship between GT and Porsche is pretty close.

As far as i know, all the cars that day had Gran Turismo Decals on their windshields (correct me if im wrong).

Yes, all cars were required to use that banner, because "Gran Turismo" was one of the main sponsors of the race, in the past couple of years actually. There were Porsche with GT sponsoring before, even in Le Mans.

Thats definitely the TG test track, There is no visible barrier only trees. However this doesn't mean we're getting that, pre-release we were shown the Top Gear track at night (with a 787B and Audi R10 TDI).

That my friend was the Red bull hanger run way, i have no idea why it was taken out though.

I am going to say Silverstone, Spa, Sebring.

The "Triple S pack" eh, i like that.

Yes but next year... with spec III and the 2nd DLC we might see some Porsches... EA exclusive ends in 2012.

Kaz might start tweeting soon, should be awake now ;) (Soon might mean 7 hours time though). Maybe he will retweet fan support messages first. Pikes Peak I think will be one of the tracks in the track pack so look forward to the announcement of the new content.

Italian PlayStation Blog confused "tracks" with "trucks" ("camion", in italian), just sayin'
I had an heart attack reading that

hahaha, I can see it now, the italians get truck racing instead of any new tracks, I can imagine the plumes of diesel smoke now! :D

I can't seem to find his post, would you mind quoting it for me please?

If amar says it's possible, it's definitely an option.

OH GOD THAT WOULD MAKE ME HAPPY!!! *crosses fingers*

Best not to get my hopes up I suppose.

US Playstation Blog Announcement: http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/10/05/gran-turismo-5-new-free-updates-dlc-and-price-drop/ Weird how the EU blog states a release date for Spec 2.0 for October 11th, and US blog doesnt state any release date at all. Is it coming on the 11th or the 3rd week of October like Kaz said? Im thinking the latter is the real one.

Well, technically the 11th IS the 3rd week of October. Since the first of October was a saturday, that was the first week.

He said that on neogaf, not here. I just did a google search for amar212 gt5, and I found a thread started by him on that site about spec 2. I can't copy a link to that thread since i m on my phone.

Guess you guys mean these posts:
EA have exclusive Huayra rights from May to November (6 months from Shift 2 release) and DLC is clearly stated for the first week of November.

However, I presume how actual content of the update will be revealed in days to come so many surprises could await us, not just Huayra.

Apparently, EA and Sony are best buddies for some time now. Just sayin'.

*facepalm* I've totally forgotten Kaz counted that Saturday as the first week of October...that means there's 5 weeks in October? Rockin'

Racing gear? what does that mean? Hmm more body kits? Or racing suit gear? Somone asks Kaz...

But someone ask him whats new in improved physics?

I think it's about driver/avatar outfits.

But someone ask him whats new in improved physics?
Virtually every area in GT5 physics / car dynamics needs improvements, but yes it would be interesting to know what will get this treatment exactly.
