okay hold on a sec guys, has anyone gone to the TGTT at look at the follow through to see if the clouds are the same as the trailer still ?

Improvement on the physics could mean a lot of things. They might be improving the collision physics, maybe fix the draft, or the driving of the cars themselves, or something else...

I think it's about driver/avatar outfits.

Virtually every area in GT5 physics / car dynamics needs improvements, but yes it would be interesting to know what will get this treatment exactly.

Yes, Like more improved Differential (one wheel on grass, one on pavement, handbrake and gas on a FWD car both wheels spin in GT5 but most cars in real life only the grass wheel will spin so looks like all cars have limited slip at low speeds(talking about low powered normal cars)) Slippery road when uphill, car slides downhill with brake on.. stuff like that at low speeds.

I really hope the slipstream/draft gets fixed! I have a vote up inside the feedback section... topic is below, please vote!

I think that the slipstream has been toned down a bit over the past few updates.
I noticed particularly when my PS3 got the RSOD and I went from GT5 v1.01 to version I think 1.12.

the HANS device. I'm sure people have forgotten about it. The information came and went quickly.

Just searched and "HANS device" hasn't been seriously mentioned since June 30. WOW

Thanks for volunteering yourself

If anyone has the balls and patience to do it, it's gtuned. Really good photographer that guy.

It still sucks that you cannot personalize your car, creating your own decals and paint job and art. I love to have my won car paint job and decals. And the premium cars you can change the rims. Maybe this features will come out next year.

^^with the following in mind, maybe with the official support of the G25/G27 wheels, they will have made the clutch more realistic??

For ex., stalling, grinding gears, letting out the clutch too fast, etc.

That would be pretty cool. :dopey:

That doesn't seem likely. From what I hear, nothing simulates this the right way.

Improved physics is whatever the genius physics department decided to improve. Geniuses are unpredictably awesome.

I could'n't agree more, stalling for one would be easy to implement. The ability to ride the clutch wouldn't be overly hard to acheive either I think. These are all KEY areas of realism that really does need to be addressed.
Why don't they bring back flatshifting??? I understand that it can damage your engine and gearbox of a car with a standard factory transmission. However full race car's can flat shift without causing damage! It would be simple to bring back as it was in GT5P.

Just make it so that if you flat shift to much with a standard car it gives you engine and/ or gearbox damage...would that not be adding realism? Obviously to make online Time Trials even it could be automatically disabled in the same way other options are disabled to maintain and even playing field.;)👍

Acually you allready can stall the engine.

drive in 3rd hit the brake and don't use the clutch let it com to complete stop.....silence....👍

You won't be able to drive away in first unless you rev it while stepping on the clutch.
Where normaly you could just drive away in first

Ask him if he can beg Mr Slipstream programmer to set the value" set Slipstream value" from 100% to 50%. Done. 10bytes of data.

But i really would like if someone asked him the filesize for the update to 2.0

100% to what?
I'd rather have it proportional to a base realistic value.

This! 👍 And if they can't do that, just shut it OFF completely. It's by far, the main reason I began to grow disenchanted with GT5. And it turns a game with semi-serious sim like aspirations into an arcade game. I really hope this has been addressed in Spec 2.0 and they just haven't specifically mentioned it by name.

In my opinion, the over-exaggerated draft completely ruins the racing in GT5.

Not sure about completely ruins but its certainly right up there on my fix wish list.

Got a feeling it will be improved, fingers crossed!

Nope, it would be just as unrealistic making it equally as bad.

Ever drafted irl? I doubt it (since many of you don't have any clue about slipstreaming).
GT5:P had unrealistic drafting, GT5 has realistic.

Try and disapprove this.

Energizerr my friend you are perfectly right. Why doesn't anyone understand the power of drafting even after DRS has proved that a reduction in wind resistance gives 20kph in 5 secs...

The only thing I would correct in GT5's implementation of drafting is to reduce the distance that is needed to activate the effect. Only 10 meters closer is enough to stop moaning IMHO.

When it comes to drafting, the only person I believe can offer professional advice on this subject outside of Kaz, is any the GT Academy winners who have raced professionally.

Why? They have not only played GT5, Kaz (for example) has track experience and has a good idea to where it should be.

Everyone else, unless they meet that criteria, is nothing but a random forum poster.
