A buddy of mine said, "If they're going to have drag, they should hire a redneck to teach them about wrinkle wall tires and beadlock rims." If PD does go that route, I'd expect more traction.

This is extremely minor, but could someone ask Kaz for an option for Time Trial/Free Runs on the Nurburgring that shows the names of the major corners on-screen, just like in the AMG Academy trials?
 
Sure there is a difference between championship drag racing and street racing or just lining up two cars, race heads up, run what you brung and hope it's enough. I'd like to see both but IMO the later is far more exciting especially when traction and handling are both modelled well and traction is limited.

Yup Im pretty sure he could do it if he wants.....I hope he add's bracket racing as well.

On another note someone should ask him about enabling custom soundtracks online as well......Its not like its synced where everyone is listening to the same song, Its running from your system anyway.

Wow, that is both great and bad. Too bad that car duping will be possible, but great that we can now back up our saves in case our PS3s die. 👎👍

be interesting to see if we can get those tracks etc as DLC rather than disc based add on content.

From what I've read on kaz's twitter if you ask him a question about extra content he replies with 'I would like that too'.
He doesn't give away too many details. likes to make us suffer :P

This is mostly made up and more of a wish list. His recent tweets mention nothing about an update. This list is probably about all the stuff he tweeted in the last two weeks about improving the shadows and also considering removing the HUD.

However something interesting is I think he said his first car was EK Civic Type R (Black) in GT5. This is what I think he said as the Google translation didn't make that much sense. This happens to be also the car I bought in also the same colour, great minds think alike :sly:.
 
It's not made up. The french are just repeating what he said without filling in the details.
Kaz wanted to do these things. doesn't mean they will happen.

This sounds wonderful, but there is no way in hell its gonna happen. Nice to dream though.

So it's more an assumption than a fact.
 
Having agyasu's helpful and accurate translations of Kazunori's tweets, it's clear that the article on GT5RS is simply full of conjecture. Take it with a grain of salt. Or even a spoonful.
 
Negative Me: most of those "feautures" are just questions people have asked him. a little bit of a worry is that he plans for GT6 and some good ideas he may write down to include in the next game and leave GT5 as is.. and I remember reading that people thought GT5 was going to come with 3 discs. I got signature edition and that's just 1 disc like the rest of em.

Positive Me: though like prolouge with spec II and spec III.. they may slowly update the game over time and release updated disc versions to buy..or online update your regular gt5. Gran Turismo 5 Spec II... sounds cool.. I want it now lol. but I don't think it would have all the updates on a seperate blu-ray.. GT5 probably doesn't fill a single layer 25gb?.. on a dual layer 50gb disc I'm sure they have enough room... unless they plan to relase a "making of" movie or something.. that could be nice.. shrugs

same for me! both model and colour :) i know there's a limit on how many different cars you could start off with but still :)
