Something about kids spamming his twitter with nonsense and him abandoning all GT5 updates because of it.

There's a bunch of new tweets again and two of them mention G27. Could someone please translate them properly since google and babelfish do a poor job.

Don't know wether to get excited or worried.
Please translate guys.

Did that honestly say we are getting ballast options? HELL yeah. Nothing quite like not being able to use your car online becuase you are 10kg light.

Id also love to have a way to detune (even after all removeable mods are off) the car x% of HP also for the same situations.

No, its some guy spamming him with requests. I really hope they don't implement balast. It would be even harder to restrict certain cars from entering races. Just immagine chaparral 2j with enough balast to enter races above 1000kg and around 700hp. :scared:

What we really need is much more options on online restrictions. Factory cars are practically unused online, since various DTM, SUPER-GT... race cars can destroy them with less horse power. I'd also love dedicated or at least automated servers.

Neither says anything important... one says DFGT and T500 are fully compatible and G25/27 only work well and that he has used all of them extensively (sounds bad to me like he is inferring that's just how it is).

Other claims clutch in G25/27 has to be nerfed or it would break the transmission which doens't make a whole lot of sense.

Wow, this day and age and we still have comunication problems.

The PP System from Prologue would fix that as downforce is penalised, ie cost PP points, so cars with high downforce will run with less horsepower with the PP system. And high grip tyres cost more PP again. So soft racing tyre users will have less horsepower 👍
I love the PP system because you can have lighter and less powerful cars against heavier and more powerful ones instead of everyone being exactly the same. It creates great cat and mouse style races, where each car will be stronger in one area of the track against another. Makes for more frequent , clean overtakes and intense battles

Having a choice of PP, Power to weight ratio, or weight/power limits with drivetrain filters would be nice.
PP allows the use of ballast

If PD sets several preset PP levels that all online races can choose from when setting up a room, then it would make setting up a bunch of cars for online racing much easier. You can then set aside cars for 300, 500 and 700PP levels for example

As long as the PP system isn't too generic or arbitrary like the last one. I'm all for a ranking system like PP but I really liked Forza's PI system, it was based firmly on power and weight, calculated on an expert AI driver on a virtual track we have never seen... Outside of the 4 wheel drive and power train swap advantage this was a great system...

Power to weight ratio only is a terrible way to rate cars, because downforce is just a big a factor, and tyres an even bigger factor. Especially since not all cars have the same downforce. And downforce is why racing cars murder street cars

Yeah, there should be more than one indicator to limit the car field. Maybe power, weight, tuning parts yes/ no, race car/ street car, tyres or own car selection.

PP does all that without a ton of switches. Even race cars vary from one to the other with down force levels and what not. In real life, say in the FIA GT races, there is parity balancing going on with how wide the tyres are, power via air restrictors and displacement size, weight, how large the wings can be etc, PP accomplishes this in much the same way

your car weighs online!? Lucky sumbich! My Lambo floats with negative gravity, as I type, I've just left orbit

I'll be the first to defend Forza in a GT vs. Forza grudge match but Dan and Kaz shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence... Kaz invented something, Dan has been copying it like a play book with a few twists (NOT HIS OWN) and following a corporate mandate...

I have not seen Dan say anything smart...

Will someone brave enough tweet this to Kaz:

Dan Greenawalt said that his mom can beat your mom in a fight.

how about "Dan Greenawalt says his performance index in Forza2 was nearly perfect, perhaps you could copy it, but test it to make sure we don't get any Mugen Integra B class scenarios. and get that livery editor up and running Kazzy Y".

Kazzy Y

It's about time PD revealed any DLC plans, random updates are great but I'd like scheduled car and track packs to keep the game fresh and upto date.

It's been a while since the last update, so I expect this early February update to be fairly large.

With PD's record of schedules delays, are you sure you want to know and think that something is coming out on x date, only to be disappointed when it doesn't?

Okay, I am a new member here, and I just saw this topic. I don't feel like going through all 50 some pages, so besides the gran turismo anywhere update that's coming, did kaz mention anything else he will be updating soon with the game? Maybe just like a quick list or something? Thanks
