Does anyone even can about the japanese earthquake and tsunami SERIOUSLY!
You people make me  sometimes
Isnt anybody worried about all those people including Kaz!

:grumpy:

There are different threads for different discussions.

I don't know how many times its been posted its not possible to have the yt feature there is not enough memory in the ps3 forum search is your friend:tdown:

And do you really think he going to answer that question with whats going down today, some people just have there heads in the sand when it comes to the real world

I normally read the GT5 section first, so only heard about the news just now:ouch: Besides, they have posted that they are okay.

Anyway, if they can have 16 100,000 polygon cars running on a hugely detailed track with no noticeable framerate drop, I cannot see how you can use lack of memory as an excuse:rolleyes:

If Kaz is injured do you think he can patch gt5?

Considering he's already confirmed he's not injured, there were no injuries at Polyphony and the studios are ok, I'm not really sure why you're even discussing the possibility.

Ok you got me, but people he care about might be hurt, his house could have been damaged. Kazunori Yamauchi is not a machine, the GT series isn't the only thing he cares about.

If you ever captured a gameplay video on a PC, maybe with FRAPS or something, you would know, how hard a PC works to convert the uncomprimated data into a video player-friendly file format. So, GT5 doesn´t save replay data as a video file in frames but just the data to re-show the race, you made. The PS3 would need to render a comprimated/ uncompritmated video file in frames first and then comprimate and upload it to Youtube.

Forza 3 has this feature and for a 30sec-video, it can take ONE HOUR to create a Youtube-friendly video.

Well that just captures an uncompressed but large AVI video file usually around 100 megs for a 20/30 sec clip, the problem is having disk space to store the video files and software to convert that to youtube friendly format on the PS3

just curious though doesnt MW:Black Ops have a system to upload to youtube of clips you make from round replays?

wonder if this earthquake is going to delay any future patch that was going to come out for gt5?

thoughts and prayers with the people in japan

Great... That's awesome news for the end of the world loving people, and kids who have major paranoia issues about the world ending...
okay, the article won't load, and i really need to read it to see if i can sleep tonight ( Yes,I have issues)

Sleep easy, cause nothing is going to happen.

The earth axis was displaced before in the past years, and we're still here. Another one isn't going to kill us.

This is truly tragic, but this Japan we're talking about. They will rebuilt and they will rise again. They are an amazing group of people. That nuclear power plant is worrisome though. I hope they get that cooling system working again.

Stop with the guilt posts. It's completely normal to wonder what consequences might impact you.
If with "consequences" you mean if the tsunami wave will hit your hometown I'm with you, but if you mean if a patch is going to be dealyed.... well it's not so normal IMHO

This is just more 'booger wiping' in the face of astrology believers and, especially, those who profit from it. It was reported in recent months that because of an axis shift the zodiac celestial positions are different. Which causes changes to what "signs" are for which months. Today's event makes it even more askew!

Yeah, I'm talking about the patch and it's completely normal. Just like business' are wondering how it's going to affect them, people wonder about what affects them directly.

He's not wishing ill on the Japanese, he's not demanding he get his patch regardless of events. He's just wondering if it's going to be delayed.

Can you ask Kaz guys if there will be any "Spec" updates for GT5? (with tracks and cars). Not just patches.

You want to ask him if Tokyo track in the game is ok as well? Or should he be focusing on making himself and his countrymen safe?
