Nothing to do with E3 yet unfortunately. Wife got a promotion and a raise, and I just got a little loose lipped and off topic there a second. Stuff that's probably best not posting on puplic forums in general. But hey, alive to post it, that's what counts. ;)
 
It's sad how excited we all get about Kaz's potentially miss translated tweets.

We're all dogs waiting at the door for our owner to come home and finish making that dog house for us.

But he never does. People that look like him do. So we get excited! But then sad when we realise it's not him.

Perhaps now he will finally come home?

(or it will just be another seasonal and an OCD update like what was due on Thursday)

I may be wrong, but, based upon google translation of the last KY tweet, it seems like a GT5 update is behind the door.
I suppose Akira was referring to that.

All this waiting some people are doing, and when a patch does come out it'll be to fix a blade of grass or something and then it'll be like nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ye b******s. :(
 
Yes, about time that we got a definite timeframe for the next update, as mentioned by Yamauchi about five hours ago in his latest tweet (and as mentioned in this thread on page 113):

The online event might be a Fiat 500 photo shoot. Or my little pony cars. Or Rebecca Black added to the online playlist.
 
Sorry guys I'm not being able to follow up to this. Can any of our Japanese friends help us? Do you think maybe tonight we will have a new update? ;)
 
Okay guys....later today, there will be an update. He left the tweet 6 hours or so a go, right? Does 6 hours = 24? no. Wait just a bit, longer. okay? okay. Don't worry. it'll be worth it. Come on, you survived the PSN blackout, you can wait a 18 more hours.
 
Good timing, just before the 24 Hours of Le mans. I think we should be getting saves in-race for endurances, checkpoint style so I might finally attempt the 24 hour races if the update delivers. I wonder if the online special event is related to Circuit de la Sarthe at all.

You are if you cant read thru the last couple of pages, would include laziness in there too and I might sound like an arse for saying it but I'm sick of the laziness and general stupidity being shown on this forum and others....
 
It does appear to be maintenance, maybe taking down the Prologue servers and allowing more cars on track (16 to 32?) for online races?
