For being an 18 year old and claiming to be a student pilot...you surely are uneducated.

I do find that extremely hard to grasp, only because I am in the US Army, and I work in an aviation unit...so please, explain to me how that is possible :)

It'll be tough when you dont' make it in the aviation branch :(

I'll be getting out soon, and this will be my work, so I study it now, it's called prior planning. So, I would suggest you not challenge me with information you know little to nothing about :)

Killzone was not gameplay, but it is by no means CG FMV.

ROTC, huh? I wouldn't rely too heavily on that around here.. it's one thing to play at being military, but there are quite a few here who have done it for real, myself included. I knew many ROTC people when I was in the Corps.. they all agreed it did virtually nothing to prepare them for what it was really like. I was in ROTC myself, and all that went out the window the minute I stepped off that bus at Parris Island.

I'd be careful, though.. I'm fairly sure I'm not the only Marine on these forums. We tend to travel in packs.

Game online looks great !!!! When is the exact date? All I know is next year spring time right?

Killzone 2 = system seller > GoW2 = system seller

btw, aren't you glad you waited for it? So glad this won't be a HAZE flop!
 
i would just like to say that after watching the multiplayer video, my jaw is still on the floor. I for one am looking forward to the release, i can't believe that the developers have made this game look so good! The cloaked sniper has to be the single soolest thing i've seen in a game for a long time...can't wait to shoot people in the melon!!
 
Boy that trailer was excellent... definitely buying this, the multiplayer stuff looks like its going to be just as big as the single player which means loads of people playing it online.

No groups of people online have ever talked like that for real! :lol:
 
:sly: I actually do wish people would talk a bit more about tactics, whats going on etc.. but its usually just a chat room slag fest which happens to have a game attached to it.

Private matches are much better.

Oh and I still think Killzone needs to work on the explosion effects.. it still looks like a little puff of red... in need to be more like COD4 or GRAW2 explosions, really blinding and groundshaking.

It's really rare if I found a room with people who talk like that. It's usually in GTA IV Turf Wars with Blips TEAM ONLY that you get chats like that. The other game is CoD4, and that is really rare if you get a chat like that.
 
Nope I'm always in rooms with "orders" and "info" being barked over the headset, GRAW and R6V2 are the main ones, COD4 tends to have too many without headsets but with a group of friends the chat soon starts same with warhawk which should have a big revival when the update comes at the end of the month, I've found if your in a "quiet" room just start calling out enemy positions and everyone soon joins in and then it gets interesting.
 
If you're in properly dedicated clan you get talking like that, I've been involed with it before. But it very rarely happens in normal random player games though. The developers obviously know each other so they're going to talk like that.
