Le Mans 2010 and GT5

Apprently the Rebellion Lola P1's have Playstation sponsorship too.

Lola would be a great addition to GT5 with so many different models over the years.

The current P1/P2's also race with a a number of different engine configerations including Aston Martin, Honda, Judd, Mazda etc.

I wish i could watch the practice sessions, I'm not paying for it though, f-that. Speed doesn't show it until the actual race, maybe qualifying. Stupid America.

I wonder if there will be any presence at Silverstone as that location is on GT prologue. Im going to Silverstone for the F1 race...if there is anything worth getting I'll do my best.

Found a video on youtube showing signs of Playstation 3 and of course Gran Turismo 5!!!!!!!!!!

Shows up between 0:40 - 0:45 secs

And here we go... the marketing begins. A GT5 sponsorship with NASCAR would be a smart move for the American demographic.

GT5 playable at Le Mans confirmed.👍

Nascar preview on the big screen, definitely to be shown at E3.

Do I see a PS MOVE logo in the last pic? They're going to have other games, it can't be for gt5's demo....

Yeah I know it's the old one. They're showing it on a big screen....there must be a reason.

Ah I misunderstood what you meant.

But what would be the point of showing an old video at E3? I hope this isn't what that twitter status was talking about.

Also, looks like they're going to be holding a GT5 tournament. And the red car looks like it might be a Viper ACR. Not LM cars in sight, yet.

Looking at the blue/red tyres on the back and the checkers pattern on the floor the GT5 area seems to be pretty big....and that PS MOVE sign just above it is still bugging me:scared:

Looks like GT5 is on an express run to the finish line (aka a release date) at a great rate of knots, no more pit stops. I really hope they have Sarthe as the track in the playable demo at Le Mans.

Again tokyo would be.. hmmm
And why do they show that nascar trailer?
Didn't think French people were so fond of Americans (in general)..

Let's hope for a Le Mans demo...
It's actually the most logical in this situation, after the 24h Nürbürgring demo..
Although PD let's us down from time to time, i'm still not giving up my hope just yet!

imo looks like that red nascar car and a timetrial challenge at la sarth, yes it sounds weird but marketing ?

Nope, thats a Dodge Viper ACR at the main menu. Black trunk gives it away. Besides, there's no way in hell that #8 Budweiser Chevy is in GT5 since its from 2007.

The videos/screen we're seeing in the pic(s) is probably what Sony/promoter is using for setting up the event. Perhaps it's on the day of the event (Le Mans) that the actual video/demo will be shown to the public. Showing it beforehand is usually a marketing faux pas.

You people must have some imaging enhancement software or something because I don't know what the hell you're talking about. What red car?

Third picture, small TV directly below the Big screen.

Good grief, I can confirm that the course shown on the stage is none other then Tokyo, so no Circuit De La Sarthe for the competion :indiff:
