All of that doesn't add pp to cars except tq, weight distribution doesn't add much maybe 2-3 pp but nothing serious

And when I'm saying this I'm talking about tuning wise.

If you lock hp and kg then its battle of tunes

I know what you mean but I'm taking about before tuning. As in car choice itself.

That's one big problem is car choice in the community. N the ones that r different n have interesting choices don't come out n show the cAr potential cuz all they see is the same cars like s2000 n nsx type r n spirit r's. I want to see someone drive more underpowered not looked at cars that r down talked. Everyone chooses the best car instead of being the best in the car that they can take pride in n enjoy tuning n having on the touge. Until that happens no matter what regulations someone will find the best car within the regs. So having regs does not help.

That's why I moved back to rFactor for drifting (possibly having a permanent stay), after reading the previous posts on the last few pages about that community crisis for Touge (not only that, but I got tired of GT physics lol, but I miss GT and think about the old school Touge Drivers). It's actually not that different from what you said (car choice wise) either, to be honest. Too much S-Series, Chasers, and stuff in Drift Community in rF. I'm like the only guy who drifts an AE86 in the game. Many of the guys now prefer some new drift mod called, SP. It's just instant full upgrades = 900-1000HP mess. Apparently the owner of the mod recently left the rF Community after some argument for one of the guys, who worked on it decided to use model parts that required permission.

Even worst is the engine choices that half of the idiots use, because half of them are influenced by FD (Formula D), they just brag about V8s and Full-Boost Turbos, I'm not kidding. I was on Fuji Speedway (Reverse D1 section) in the Drift Servers, and one SP user starts bragging about his Supra how it's 900-1000HP, "lots of boost" and he kept telling other people who had about maybe...240-300 or so to bump it up, I proved him wrong with just 182hp and 750kg. I remember I mentioned about how proving driving talent is more important than just claiming about power and the guy says, "think about it though, it also takes more talent to drift a greater powered car". But long story short, it's no different in a way ever since I switched from GT back to rF.

Some people do like to drive and tune those cars, but I do agree that a bigger car choice would be better. Like when gt6 first came out people were running everything from mustangs to GTRs. But now rx-7s and s2ks are the majority which kind of sucks but that's howit is.

also, the PP regs prevent people from getting away with a 20PP body from flat floors.

and that's the reason I have trouble finding the ideal car for myself. It's difficult to be competitive in the cars I'd rather drive, so I find myself either listing every race or just using the same cars as everyone else.

That's where ur mistake is guys. Using whatever car another person uses is just copying. It's not ur car. If u get beat in ur car u need to find a way to make ur car better n not follow everyone else. That's everyone mistake.

Lol I damn no matter where u go there drama lol. I'm thinking about running a car that no one normally see out there n seriously tune it one of these days. I just gotta pick one
Haha yeah, basically. It's a damn *censored*

It's really no competition if everyone drives the same car cuz it's the best car.
Same thing happened to Ueo, after he ditched the AE86 for the S15; he screwed up. He still uses an S15 but he's been doing well.

Hmmm lol I thought about going from a z to a ae86 or s14 lol the 86 is a challenge the s14 is interesting but don't suit my style as much lol

Maybe there's too many drivers running Hachi's? I'm not bothered by that as someone that drives one as their main. I am seeing a trend of 32's going up in number.

Wait till u guys see what im working on...youll be like wtf...ive been doing alot of random stuff since the drama unfolded in the touge community so I've been spending alot of time tuning solo...and also I am currently building a website for drift tournaments with cash payouts to the top 3 drivers. Still got decided how much registration and payouts will be. But the site is almost done and the track layout is completed along with rules and regulations. Hit me up for more info... unless your a drama causing a hole then bk da f off...lol

I only know like 5 people running 86 that runs it as there main. Gtr's oh yeah totally but Silvia's there is hardly anybody lol. Then again people who drive an 86 people will give up tuning it lol. Finding a new main no one seems to try out n tune r the cars with the most potential

LOL wasn't the case that time, it was because Autobacs + D1 screwed up the whole thing by using high speed courses instead of sticking to courses like, Sekia, Nikko, Tsukuba and Bihoku. There weren't actually many 86 drivers after 2002-2003? Like I mean there was ALOT but maybe about 2-3 AE86s manage to get into the best 16 which were probably non-private teams/known celebs like Ueo, Maeda Ken, Wataru Hayashi and Hibino.

It's cause the AE86 is screwed up in the game, especially w/ the default weight distribution. It's suppose to be 53:47, but someone at PD had to make it 58:42 or whatever it was. The AE86 is probably a car that'll actually oversteer anyways, because of its rear 4-link live-axle setup (which drifters use it as an advantage + it's lightweight body).

I run the custom drift layout almost everyday. I still gotta finish up the website before the cash payout tournaments can take place. If you want send me a pm and I can send u the link to check out the rules regs point system and layout. But keep in mind its still work in progress so its kinda sloppy.i just put all my ideas in there right away before I forgot them....there are really only 3 main requirements as of right now. Your car must not exceed the 600hp limit.(to tight of a track to really use all 600hp so no real advantage against low hp cars) car must have a number plate on it for the visual effect of the vids. And have a paypal account for the cash transactions. I just gotta be careful on what I name my lobby cuz I already got my account suspended twice for have the word paypal in the room title. If all goes according to plan i will be hosting 1 cash payout tournament every Saturday night and 1 for fun tournament both on Fridays and Sundays. Along with random group practice sessions throughout the week. As long as there is enough interest in the tournaments I will continue to host them as long as possible. Maybe even multiple one back to back if everyone agrees to it. As of now its only one track with a custom layout. But I do plan on running more in the future. Im just trying to avoid the same old drift routines. I wanna bring something new and fresh to gt6 community.

And king I sent u a friend request

Actually I have been experimenting with older style cars 99-older. The fact I do agree with King & Takumifuji about the touge incidents, I have been doing my own things like tune my SW20. Which only 5% will actually use it as a main.

So, I plan on testing some old 80s-60s cars. It should be fun to drive them!

I'm hosting a tournament tonight. The lobby is open now, I'll post the room number in a few minutes.

Cat'n'Mouse U-Turn Best of 3
1 car-length/5M is the gap.
Trial Mountain Reverse
L.O.T.S. CLASS "B" 450PP/SH
HEAVY DAMAGE / FAST TIRE WEAR
Seeded Bracket - 12 Slots

Lol I think if the community drove more harder to tune cars or older cars to stack up to the ones who want the best cars n beat the so called best cars lol. Every car can be good but takes effort n work to have an amazing car on the touge that looks good
