Yes Hagerty code only gives you the McLaren short tail GTR in a Hagerty livery. I signed up for their club trial, selected the GT7 benefit and someone from Hagerty emailed the code to me about a day or two later. Code is entered in the PS store and then you receive the gift car when you start up GT7.

I used the Hagerty drive club code about a week ago to get the McLaren F1 GTR for free. You have to gia credit card but it’s a free trial and you can cancel without payment. Now I don’t wanna drive it because it has 0 miles lol
Well that's interesting. And I like free things

I think I will consider it.

You got a link to sign up?

I signed up today and it said I was gonna get the 917 instead. Hopefully I will be able to atleast sell it as the car handles pretty horribly.
If memory serves, the Hagerty's/GT7 free car partnership was supposed to change cars annually. Now the bad news - as it's a DLC, you won't be able to sell that copy (though you will be able to unload anything you actually bought, or alternately skip buying it).

And memory serves. From the Hagerty's press release back in March 2022:
Players who are also Hagerty Drivers Club (HDC) members can opt in for an exclusive in-game benefit to own and drive a select car with a custom Hagerty livery from the Hagerty Collection*. This benefit renews each year with a different legendary car.

That sucks as I don't really like the handling but I will save it for custom races or Le Mans 700 as with extra ballast it handles better but still not very good.

I just signed up for Hagertys and looks like I will be getting a free 917. I'm cool with that. I kinda hate I missed the McLaren but oh well what can you do. Free is free and I don't have a 917 anyways 🤷🏿‍♂️

For players in the USA, there’s another angle to the partnership. If you’re a member of the Hagerty Drivers Club, you can receive a voucher to get a free vehicle from the Legend Cars dealership, with an exclusive Hagerty livery. That deal renews every year, so you can get a different car each time.

If you are just looking to collect all the cars, the 917 deal is better than the '95 McLaren F1 GTR by 5.5M credits. Neither one is really a great performer when compared to its rivals, but the 917 is more expensive, so...

As it stands I have grinded ~5M credits in the last couple days. I still have ~8 days to collect upwards of 20M credits if I want to afford both the Merc and the McLaren this go around. Thats a lot of grinding.

I'm not aware of there being one. You need to sign up to Hagerty Drivers Club; if that's possible without a US phone number/postal address then maybe? 🤷‍♂️
Just checked and it requires US address when signing up for free trial of Drivers Club.
This could be possibly bypassed by using random address from the Internet.
However not sure what the next step is, if they require a US credit card for example that would be hard to omit.

I think I will let go, as it seems bit shady to use fake address to get the code anyways.
Maybe we have someone here who actually tried to do that though?

If you don't live in the USA there's not much point attempting to sign up for the free Hagerty car. I tried a few months ago and it requires an American credit card. I even tested using a prepaid American Visa card but it wouldn't accept prepaid cards.

Sweet! The 550 is finally back, now I can finish that last menu! I also just sent my request for the 917k code. I already have the McLaren GTR.

An actual benefit of having a vehicle insured with Hagerty, lol. I certainly don't read the magazines they send me.

When is the Porsche Spyder Type 550/1500RS ’55 going to be available again? I’ve been waiting for this car for a while, and it’s now the only car I’m missing to complete all the Extra Menus. Also, how much credit do I need to purchase it? I remember it was like 4.5 mil the last time I saw it available?
It’s back right now 👍 for 4.5 mil

or for those who collect extremly expensives cars like others collect 3⭐⭐⭐ tickets... 👀

🤣🤣

Today ill see if i get another one 6 star ticket and if i did you'll be the first to know how.

I watched a YT video yesterday about the Rothmans Porsche 962.

Anyway, the video said that one these cars is going up for auction on June 9th. It will be the first time any if these cars will have ever gone up for sale. Considering Hagertys tries to price these vehicles according to real world values, how much you think this Class C Porsche will sell for? $10-12M? Isn't this a 2M credit car in the game right now? Probably will see a big price increase on this one once the auction happens.

That will be interesting, indeed🤔

Bought the Barker today. Yeah, not worth it unless you are trying to buy every car in the game. I'm really not sure what race this car would perform well in.

Anyway, I've got another 5M credits to go before I can buy the '95 McLaren. I should be able to do that in the next 2 days.

I also bought it yesterday. I don’t care about it. At this stage I'm buying everything. Only 14 cars left... unfortunately the most expensive
