Convince me why I should buy a second one when the first one I bought is balls-to-the-wall crazy uncontrollable. Do it :dopey:
They are many reasons to buy a second one .

First to " honour" the hostage it was for so many months in the past.

To apply different livery

To go down from 100 millions and need to buy something

To have a pair of balls -to- the- wall crazy uncontrollable 🤣

To enter the club " i did same mistake twice "

Escudo was a legend of the past , its insane fast even with the worst turbo lag in the game ( i guess ) and can serve perfectly the role of a " griding mule " .
Even at La Sarthe can pull 3 laps at FM6 while other cars can't do even two .

On the other hand the truth is that for racing cars isn't necessary to buy a second one since they aren't any permanent modifications you can put in and change the overall " stock" condition.
Many players just get copies and apply different pp settings and liveries cause they found easier to choose the car than messing with tuning sheets etc.etc.
It's up to anyone taste and there's no wrong or right about have one , two or twenty two.

If it helps, I refused to put a wing on mine (i.e. like the Praiano tune that many people will use) and it's an absolute bloody nightmare to control, with a wheel at least. Borderline undriveable for me at the minute.

Music to my ears. I don't think my GT40 has a rear wing as the livery I downloaded is based on a privateer MK1 that raced in the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.

I had a very brief drive in it the other day with a very optimistic shot at winning the 800pp race at the Nurburgring with a near stock car plus racing hards. It generally felt pretty good to be honest and I liked the primitive 'traction control' of a very long first gear that prevents the engine getting too revvy too early.

I'll be losing the racing tyres going forward though as that's like putting 2020 tyres on a 60s car.

Guys, I hate to flood the thread with what may seem like a stupid question, but when the BMW Mclaren GTR 95 (the Gr3 black livery one, not the long tail) will show up again?

Thanks in advance

Is that thing even worth that much cash?

I mean I know it looks fantastic, but is it usable?
Yep, sure is. I was whipping up on some European FR races with mine yesterday. It was well past time to dust the thing off and drive it.
Thanks for the heads up. In that case, I'll probably just go for the GT40. Have 5.3 million at the moment so an hour on Spa should do it. I just don't like seeing that many credits draining from my account at once 😭
On the other hand, I'm not the kind of bloke to spend his whole weekend grinding for one car, don't care how rare it is. It's only a bloody game, after all. It's not like it's going to be an investment 😂
The CLK-LM is a great car for grinding on Spa and any other endurance race comprising GT3 and Gr 3 cars in the field. Absolutely destroys them 👌
IMHO you get a better experience running similar cars to the AI. You get more confident with the game.
Besides, who doesn't like white knuckling around Spa for a solid hour only to be spun by P2 on the final turn?
Is there another kind?
That was random!

Thankyou little Abby, today I put the GTO in alongside the post Abby acquired 917k and Mac f1 which completes the 3 20mill cars I was missing... alongside 300mill Abby dollars spent on "nice to gets", the XJ13, hypercar doubles, full upgrades on almost all garage cars, doubles and triples of models and makes to create custom historical race fields (16 complete so far) - racing a 30 lap 1969 SCCA custom race and winning in my Boss over the sunoco camaro by 1.6s after being on complete different pit strategies with great racing by the whole field was such fun. anyways, Today the Legendary dealership delivered my GTO... YAY,

The new Weekly events feature the Nostalgic Cars race. Escudo is available for 1.7mil. Total earnings for rewards are just over 1.8mil.

The only ones I'm missing are the special invite cars from Ferrari, I gave up on those tbh, the chances of me getting a 4 stars roulette plus a Ferrari invite plus the roulette to fall on it are very very slim, been playing from the beginning and still no luck
You never get it ? Or when you get one didn't have the credits to buy them ?

Same here. Bought everything except for the FXXK (I was still expecting the invitations to happen regularly back then) when Polyphony opened up all invitations for a while, and have not seen a Ferrari invitation in the entire time I'm playing the game. Still holding out hope that it may happen someday.

I don't 😂 After an hour's grind, the last thing I want is to be spun out by P2 and get significantly less credits due to the AI's aggressiveness. Clean race, P1, 1.6 million smackers. Ta very much 😊 Sorry, 1.5.

My last one needed. One final mammoth grind for victory.
I miss 10 cars to be at 100% including an invite only one. Beat has been working strong this month. Not sure what car I miss now, at least 3 german, 3 italian, 1 japanese, 1 USA, and don't remember the remaining 2 ones.
