Just wait until your tires have 20 laps on them...then we'll talk about the tunnel. If you run wide, you may miss the entrance. I was behind someone who did that twice last night during our muscle car race. I got a friggen penalty for hitting them which put me further back. Of course with damage on full and penalties off, both drivers will be screwed if the front driver messes it up.The tunnel?
Sohn, we already have a full house...but given the attrition rate of such series, i speculate we may lose a few after the pre-season race. I'll put you at the end of the list. There are a few slots open for the preseason race because I know some people won't be able to attend. You might be able to squeeze in for that race.Soooo, I know I'm late to the party for this season, but mind if I join back in the fun?

chuyler1Re: publishing cars
I can do that. I need everyone's selection by 12:00pm EDT on Wednesday (tomorrow) and can post them shortly after. I can tell you now, the AE86 is the most popular so if you're waffling and want something unique...that's just a heads up. I suggest everyone find something fun and unique. It's not about winning the first race at 375pp, its about building a car up and challenging yourself to drive it as best as possible. There will be times where the guy in front of you has an accident. Even if he's 30 seconds ahead, if you squeeze every second out of your laps you could get by him when he goes into the pits.
Re: grid start
I have heard that if everyone exits to the pits (not to the lobby) before the race is started the order will be correct. I may try that tonight in my 450pp lobby to see if it works. However it will require a certain restraint from all drivers through the first turn. Don't push the grid 3-wide. If the car in front of you is slower, give him a bump to get him up to speed. The goal is to turn a double-file grid into a single file running order, not to pass everyone before the first turn. If we do a stopped grid start, I will reserve the right to start the race over again if people get damage on the first turn. of course I won't know if people get damage if you don't speak up.

Well, I cannot publish the car list unless I've received them all. I know your car so I can fill that in (unless you changed it from what you mentioned last night)...but I have not heard from others.
I was going to run the Celica GTR 4WS but I've just topped it at le Sarthe and the Talon with the same parts, minus supercharger/turbocharger hits 20mph more and has 18 more PP. I'm still thinking about the Piazza though. It could run 35 laps w/o pits on GVE-R with less than a 2 second decrease best to worse and thats hard to overlook.
Its between the IS200/AS200 and the Piazza. I dont want to be on a different pit schedule than the folks I need to draft with.
I was definitely considering the piazza, then i accidently saved it with too much tune on it and I can't get it to show back up in the ucd
