LOL thanks for the bump:P
-A much better racing sound, a lower sound, more bass in it if you say it that way, +the bangs you hear when a race car shifts gears, it's the most noisiest noise ever created on earth:crazy:
-I think it would be soooo much fun to enter a walk mode into the game, on a track, just to let it feel as an event, A REAL racing event, with shops around it and everything lol, not for buying stuff or something, just for the feel, and the preperation going before a real race as well, a race itsself is more fun then:D
-More cars and stable cars instead of one leader car and 5 other "holding up" cars. A pit strategie as well.

You may hate some of the enduros but thats you, other people want them, me in particulay, flags and car damage and maybe random chance of something going wrong in the pits would make enduros actually a test of enduance, rahter than a longer version of a short race. Now that would be a challenge, coming from a lap or so down with only an hour or so to go after a blown tyre or a bad shunt that needed repair. Also adapting AI, ie- if you start picking up the pace they try a bit harder, change their strategy depending on what happens, would make it more fun rahter than the ultra predictable rag most the enduros in gt4 are now

yep, thats one of the things i really would love to see....especially a flag system so that you cant just ram the other cars out of the way in fear of being black flagged.....i also really want the rqandom problems (ie, gearbox jams and you cant change gears, blown head gasket, blown tyre, oil loss-which would then leave a slick spot on the track, headlight/tail light failure, brake failure, etc) and car damage that is realistic would be extreamly nice.....especially if you had to pay for repairs (hehe, another thing to peole from ramming).....it would suck to have to pay for a snapped axel or a blown engine....

another thing i want.....i want wheel to wheel contact on the F1 cars to actually be realistic. i noticed that there is an invisible box in GT4 preventing you from brushing the wheels on the part that touches the road.....for an example of wwhat i am wanting, look for the video clip of Ralph Schumacher runnint into-and getting launched over-Ruebens Barachello in Melborne a couple years ago....also, along with the damage model, make it possible to snap off the wheels on all cars, especially on F1 cars, when you run into a wall or somthing else at high speed.....

ok, thats all for now :sly:

i lied, this is the last one...lol

man, i have no idea why they dont have the backfire of upshifting like on real race cars......ill use F1 as an example, when they upshift there is a loud 'pop' and burst of flame....and the F1 cars need to be able to downshift faster, the ones in GT4 have a slowish downshift in my openion.....

now im done...lol

Get rid of the horrible car garage organisation thingy in GT4......Whats wrong with having them in win order?!

Have a real 3D Garage (probably need to be a showroom / warehouse) so you can free roam around your cars.....Also expand on the GT Auto side of things with real crews making mods to your car engine etc etc (like for the tuning screen).

Reverse Lights....... (as if it hasnt been asked for in every GT!)

Make special cars race enter-able........why not have a caterham 7 race?...or a model T race?

I dont like the idea of the race challenges (you know the challenge 31, 32, 33..thingy).....Why not package it into licence tests?.....and make licence tests easier! Jeez not all of us have a DFP ok!

Expand the used cars to include more types and makes (they are mostly japaniese).....maybe age them abit (rust, damage etc!)...who knows what the PS3 could process

Thats all I want............ :) 👍 ........for now......

oh, p.s........bring race mod back...and have tuning stickers on your car!

A typical sound example of what I WANT BADLY is the intro of the GT4 movie, where the GT LM edition drives on El Capitans straight and takes in the camera: WONDERFULL SOUND! Together with the Bentley and Toyota Minolta passing by just a few seconds later. Real GGGGRUUUUMMSS instead of a steady balanced sound, IT MUST SCREAM! MUSIC!!

I guess more people want more 3D action, in garages, good idea:tup::sly: That would be soo awsome:sly:

I just had an idea.

If GT5 is to include tournament like play, just like a real JGTC season or a real F1 season, etc.

They should implement Driver Names.
For example,

Today I was doing the F1 championship, and whenever they pit, it's the same name, they use the name of the car.

And they only way to differentiate them is the colour.

I'd would be nice that each driver has his name, like a Name Generator.

Just like in Racing Evolution.

Just a small touch but a nice feature.

It would be good, if you can choose between your cars, like you do in for example in NFSU, you know, just left, right, changes between cars, and you see how they look, not just the name, list, where you have to click on a car name, and then you see it..

Hell no, that would be awful. :yuck:

this is very little but: when you watch a replay and cars are soaring by at speeds of about 300 km/h all you hear is the noice of the wind while you should hear a loud engine passing making your ears bleed (like in real life)...

My list. I may add to this at a later date.

-Reverse lights (for the umpteenth time)
-Faster menus
-More sorting options for your garage (It autosaves everything but can't remember that I want my cars sorted by acquire date)
-2 player drag racing
-More realistic drag racing. Let's see a proper burnout box, and then have to stage yourself, and get a good r/t. All without assistance. I want to see my r/t, e/t, and speed when I'm done.
-Mud rallies, and long rallies (not Paris-Dakar length, but mabye 20 min.).
-Rally stages as well as closed courses.
-Your car gets dirty. I have not yet seen a race in real life where the cars are clean at the end. I want to see brake dust, dirt, blackened exhaust tips, etc.
-Different grades of oil.
-Cheaper tires. I highly doubt that a set of soft racing slicks would cost $47,500 in real life.
-Selectable weather and daytime/nighttime effects for arcade mode.
-Your own modified garage cars should be able to be used in ALL of Arcade mode.
-More historic (read:50's, 60's, 70's and 80's) cars.
-Accurate car sounds. I know for a fact that a '67 Cougar does not sound like a '94 Camaro, and that a Chevelle sounds meaner than GT4 depicts. Especially an LS6 Chevelle. More supercharger whine and turbo noise would also be nice.
-Accurate torque curves. Japanese engines might have to rev to 5,000 RPM to get power, but that doesn't mean every engine does. This is accentuated with muscle cars that get their torque at 2,000 RPM or sometimes lower.
-Accurate power curves.
-More tire smoke
-The ability to do donuts.
-Fast forward, rewind, and slo-mo in all replays.
-A-spec points give you rewards.
-A reliable, fast B-spec driver for those 24 hour races.
-On rally courses and narrow road courses (those without fences), have the boundaries pushed out a little. If you screw up, you should go off course and not just bounce off an invisible wall. This could be a replacement for the 5-sec. penalty.
-No 5-sec. penalty. If you need to smash into an opponent that badly, then you should be able to do it.
-More tuning companies, perhaps American. Ligenfelter, Roush, Saleen, Callaway, ETC.
-Ability to turn car lights on/off.
-Period correct tuning options. You shouldn't be able to do a computer upgrade on a '69 Camaro.
-Non-scrolling text. Put it all onscreen at once, please.
-I want to be able to own a bunch of different wheels, like it was in GT3. I don't want to have to sell off the originals.

I want to be able to tune your car while on a practice run or juring the pits instead of haveing to quit the race, tune your car, than start the race again learning you didnt do it right....

Even Forza has this option :ouch:

i think they should increase the resolution of the scenery, since on most city tracks (in particular New York),the billboards and scenery are really pixellated and it just doesnt look right.

Tuning - Now, you see, we have HKS all other famous tuning companies and I wonder why do they have the same effect (in hp) when in RL it's actually different. Now, I would like to see that in GT5 with some hp difference between them because I can't belive that they all have the same effect ;)
PS. If I'm wrong about this hp difference thing, please correct me.

I agree it would be nice if they were different HP and other ratings depending on where you got them from.

car info library
turbo tuning
different turbo sounds
more tuners in the tuning village
BRING BACK THE RACING PAINT SCHEME FROM GT2!!!
Different tacho/spedometer graphics (selectable)
or better yet, custom dashes
first person view body roll :D
clutch
six speed shifter on wheel
more tyres
more tuning options including:
carbon fibre
aerobody parts
different colour headlights
different helmets to buy for your bspec driver/racing suits too

ie also custom tuning parts which give varying degrees of performance
maybe HKS racing intercooler gives a higher horse power and better cooling but a Blitz one might give less and weigh less affecting the car's overall weight
Racing:
BRING BACK HEAPS of point to point races, eg pikes peak and put in mountains maybe ala enthusia's dragon range
smart AI
penaltie's for damaging car(along with damage system:D)
penalties for running off the track
better crowds
changable time of day/weather
better rain effects
ability to race on snow or ice overed circuits
skidmarks
ABILITY TO TURN ABS OFF
better engine and exhaust sounds
oil, engine and water temperatures, power loss after quota hit for each(ie slow down your pace in enduros and driving fast street cars) would also make for more interesting races
dritft mode and drift tracks (like drift land in the drift bible and other misc courses designed for it)

maybe ocme up with some more later :D

(I apologise if I’m repeating what was already said)

I would like to see the following in GT5:

Arcade mode) I would like to be able to choose my opposition, and if I do want the computer to decide for me it should be based on which class your vehicle fails under for example:

*Your Car* > Peugeot 106 1.3 Rallye

Opposition > Small Hatch > Hot Hatch > Engine Capacity from > 1300cc > up to > 1800cc

CPU 1 > Citroen Saxo 1.6 VTS
CPU 2 > Suzuki Ignis 1.5 sport
CPU 3 > Rover Metro 1.4 GTi 16v
CPU 4 > VW Polo 1.3 G40
CPU 5 > Fiat Punto 1.4 GT
CPU 6 > MG ZR 1.8 160
CPU 7 > Honda Civic 1.6 VTi (91-95)
CPU 8 > Ford Escort RS Turbo Series 2
CPU 9 > Vauxhall Corsa 1.8 SRi

The last thing I want is to be driving a Ford RS200 RallyCar against Coupes or Saloons like the Nissan 300ZX and Alfa 156 GTA instead of other RallyCars like the Opel Ascona 400, the Citroen BX 4TC, the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, etc.

Fuel Economy) it should not be possible for a CPU racing in a Lotus Elise 111R, a Lotus Elan Series 1 or a Lotus Europa Special to have better MPG then a BMW 120D or even finishing the race without the need to refuel!

I love this game and I don't want this to sound like I'm whinging But,I have found that the Tracks are too 'sterile'.I would hope that PD would put more clutter around the tracks(Like Race marshalls, more spectators, etc). Also more action in the pits---Like you see in the opening Sequence.

It would also be fun if you were to go off the track and when returning to the track you dump a load of of dirt on it.(Really stuff the other Drivers up!).

Weather- What fun it would be if doing a 24 hr enduro on Nurburgring and halfway thruogh the heavens open up.Then you are panicing because you are half way through a lap and on Dry weather Racing slicks!

Is it too much to ask for realistic Lighting?C'mon 24 hr enduro while in bright daylight?!?

An option to change the number of laps for each one of the races and the difficulty and aggressiveness of the AI for the GT Mode.

Let me race the AI at 120% or more!! :)

I don't know if this can be considered "little" but, assuming online play, it would be nice to setup an online competition, and being able to specify

- cars allowed
- tuning allowed
- tracks (order, # of laps)
- number of competitors
- "private" / "public" events
- Prizes (cash, cars)

The first I'd like, as I wanted for GT4, is a clutch button (perhaps R1, and switch nitrous oxide controls to L3). Shifting would be sequential, but you could skip gears, which adds what I think would be a welcome addition. It would also distinguish SMG and manumatic transmissions from normal manuals.

I'd also like realism with respect to transmission availability. A Viper doesn't have an automatic, so it shouldn't be available. You want to drive one? Learn to drive the manual. Conversely an AMG Mercedes-Benz doesn't come with a manual, so you should be stuck driving the automatic.

I also want damage. Not exterior damage modelling, but damage. Downshift to 2nd while going 140mph? Say bye-bye to your engine and transmission. Crash head-on into a wall at 80mph? Say hello to a new engine and suspension and a major frame repair.

Finally, I want to be able to part-out a car. Engines, transmissions, etc. could be sold separately. This would make engine and tranny swaps incredibly easy to program, and would also work well with the aforementioned damage system (if you pooched your engine and tranny you could buy new factory-original ones, or you could swap in completely different ones).

Here are some things I'd like added as well:

*Create-your-own-rim-design
*A working horn.
*High/low beam headlights that actually illuminate.
*No more adding entire countries just to add a car or two (they had to add Sweden for just two Volvos in GT4??)
*Burnout-style crashes (over-mentioned and probably impossible, but still...)
*All wheel drive systems that are really all wheel drive systems, not 4WD (think Subaru and Audi for example--their real AWD systems are not implemented into GT4, but instead are called "4WD" and use GT4's 4WD system).
*Adjust tire pressure
*The ability to shut off ABS

The $85K mod. from GT and GT2.
Carbon fiber that looks like it
Every rally car have dirt and snow tires
No glitches
Not soooooo many Skylines/Lancers you get the idea
Options Options Options!

I think the pit crew should have different colors like the same color stalls and the clothes and signs as the car. I think that would add perfectly to the to the realism.
