Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

No......all PS2 games will use the sequential shifting option. The clutch will only be functional in TOCA 2, TOCA 3, and Enthusia.

H-Gate and Clutch are only supported currently by PC games like NR2003, GTR, LFS, etc, etc......

do you know that for a fact? just wondering b4 i go saving the $$$ for nothing. If that is the case i'll just keep my DFP.

I thought of something. Maybe this is Logitech's first attempt, without the coorperation of Sony, to let Sony know it's possible to make a wheel, H-shifter and pedals with clutch. There has been no mention of this wheel to be the next GT wheel but maybe there will be one in the near future when GT5 comes out, based on this one. This is the prototype!!!!
Look at the swithes and buttons (no x, o, [], ... marks, just red buttons.

You know what bugs me about this is that I previously thought the DFP would be "good enough" for all my racing needs from now 'til Judgement Day.

Apparently I was wrong.

On the plus side, my current stand should be adequate to attach the thing to. We'll have to wait and see what all supports it.. I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I'll start looking at it pretty hard if a bunch of PS3 racers use it.

Hey guys,
Cant wait to get my hands on one of these...
Just one Question, im an aussie and i was wondering if this would be ok to use the gear changer part would ok on the left hand side...

It looks like its even, so it looks like its all good for us aussie drivers ect...
Regards
Reece

(PS keep those photo's coming in, gotta have some convincing evidence)

You can even mount the shifter at the roof of your cockpit (if you're going to build a cockpit with a "roof" above your head). Gay people shift gear like that. :)

i've miss shifted a few times when racing but its never costed me a race...

i've lost a few drag races because i miss shifted tho :P

That's because you're granny shifting, not double-clutching like you should. :lol:

That sucker looks good. 3 bills though? Not for me. I'd rather go out and get an Xbox 360 and PGR3 for a couple hundred more.

Forget that, powershifting is where it's at. Keep the gas smashed, tap the clutch and shift the gear at the same time. I'd love to be able to do that in a game, since it's terrible for a real car.

With the summerjob I have now, I'll be owning one in no-time.

But then there's no point offcourse of owning this wheel when you already have a DFP which does the trick ;)

+When I'm 18, I'll be driving a real car and there's no wheel which can beat a real wheel 👍

dfp= 2 pedals g25=3 pedals
dfp=sequential g25=seqential and gaited 6 speed
dfp= 1 motor g25= 2 motors
um.... yeah

Well, it's 3 times as expensive yet it can't be 3 times as good...
Find me a metal wheel, complete with a 6 speed h-shifter (and sequential conversion) and a 3 metal pedals all for under $300.

where on that page is it confirmed frex is releasing a g25 mod?

Its not a G25 mod, its a new wheel being built from scratch, but using possibly either a DFP PCB as it's brain, or maybe a G25 PCB.

Hey ISAMU, great way to stir up a false rumour..... (and I know you well from RSC).

Shige only confirmed that he's working on the DFP, not on the G25 (maybe in 2 years they'll start modding the g25 :) ).

very insensative to say :P not that any of the gay gtp people care.
Ow, you're right. What was I thinking.

I sincerely apologize to all the gay people on this forum. I will try not to make a stupid remark like that again.

Sorry :embarrassed:

Skimmed through and didn't notice this mentioned so sorry if it has been.

Do the pedals have a motor/motors in them. Especially for the clutch. It will feel really stupid without a friction point.

Also i wonder with a motor in the brake pedal if they would be able to emulate brake fade??
