No, no, nooo, .... there goes my dream of owning a G29.There was a guy on the PCARS forum that reported he got a G29 dead on arrival.

Yep it is cheaper but the CSR is out of stock according the Fanatec website.I'd suggest you take a look at something from Fanatec, mate. If you want a shifter, you'll be cheaper by getting the CSR with the standard pedals and shifter

Yes, I have. There is one, brand new because this guy got a G27 for his birthday and he already had a G27, and he sells it for €170. It is however a two hour drive (to and back).Damn :/
But if you really want a wheel and can wait a little bit, that might be the (much) better option. Have you looked out for any G27's? Maybe even used G27's? It's the same thing in terms of internals.

Confused on what to do!
It all depends whether you value reliability over technology.
Yes, yes, but not when I take my private jet. Barely when I drive with my, mmmm ..... can't remember the name of my car. It is very fast, has 1000hp and Jenson Button had one.So? Still a much better deal than a G29
Depending on how you drive, you can make it to and back with one tank of gas

Ofcourse, a Honda Veyron Civic.A Honda Civic?
Time to get those 3tpa pro out of the box. Looks like both times you had issues with the pedalsHello all, new here. I'm looking for some advise.
I've got a G29 and a T300RS with T3PA-pro pedals at home and i'm not sure which setup to keep.
The G29 has a better button layout and the leather feels much better in the hand plus the pedals are way better than the stock T300 ones. I haven't tried the T3PA-pro's yet as not sure if i should get them out the box.
The T300RS does have a better Force Feedback and feels a chunkier wheel but it's my second thrustmaster wheel to have problems. The first one i had was a T300 GTE but after only a couple of days of using it it developed some faults. First fault was it kept loosing accelerator so i would have to take my foot off and on the accelerator to get it to kick back in, by this point you would lose about 3 places as cars would go flying past you. The next fault was the wheel would keep disconnecting from the PS4 and start going crazy.
I sent the T300 back to whom i bought it from and nearly 2 months went by without them repairing or replacing it so i got a refund and pre ordered the G29. I got fed up waiting for the G29 plus with all the bad mouthing of it online i cancelled that and ordered a T300RS with T3PA-pro pedals. The G29 order didn't cancel as i was too late so now i've ended up with both. lol
My new T300RS had the exact same fault as my T300 GTE so i tried reinstalling the game (project cars) to see it that would help. It helped at first and all was going well so i wasn't even going to open the G29 and just send it back but then the accelerator problem then came back again. Maybe the Pro pedals will solve it i don't know but it's making me think i should stick with the G29 and send the Trustmaster stuff back. I think i would prefer to keep the T300 but not if it's unreliable.

It doesn't work.
The PS3 recognises a G29 as a DFGT, which doesn't have a H shifter. So, the H shifter doesn't work on the PS3, unless game developers add new drivers specifically for the G29 in the future.
And who is buying a wheel form a ps3 these days?.They are doing everything in there power to destroy sales of this wheel by the sound of it

Don't get me wrong, I'm also p.... That the g27 is not supported on the ps4 (I'm selling mine this week), but this just doesn't make sense.
.............for when GT7 comes out in mid 2025
That's a bit optimistic.
It shouldn't take that long. Most of the content was made when GT4 launched. They just need to remove a couple more features and slap it in a GT7 box. They have already stated they bought a new vacuum cleaner so the sounds will get reworked, but other than that its all ready to go.I reckon mid 2025 for the game itself
and early 2028 for the course creator

I have no idea.Since I watched that video, I wonder if PD will make full support for the G29 in GT6? just like how PD updated GT5 to have full support for T500 and G27 and then T300 RS in GT6.
I thought the g29 had a PS3/PS4 switch? So PS3 mode emulates the DFGT to ensure those extra buttons all work... And PS4 mode is incompatible with the PS3... Yes?So; if the G29 works on the DFGT driver on PS3, why doesn't the DFGT work on the G29 driver for PS4?! They must've worked really hard on making sure it didn't work!
