Looping When Trying To Load Game After 2.10 Udate *FIXED*

Are you having the looping problems after 2.10 update

Can anyone confirm that they've updated more then one account on the same PS3 without an issue?

Yep, me, 3 of them in fact on the one console and 2 on another PS3. All still working fine.
 
3 or so PS3 and no issues at all. A little slow on selections (home, tools or garage) last night. But, I did not download the C7 as it was taking too long to connect.
 
I was actually trying to figure out if maybe it only worked on one account (being the first account you logged in with post-patch), but that doesn't seem to be the case...unless there's a regional connection, but that's unlikely. I'll attempt logging in on my secondary as soon as I can, stuck at work for the moment with nothing better to do then ponder your problem. :)

Edit: another variable I just thought of, do you all (those effected) use the family share feature that makes your DLC available to all accounts?

I have Spa, Kart Space, Route X, Motegi, Car Pack One, Chrome Line Cars free DLC Cars.
and the family pack (track & car). I even tried re-download them all.
Didn't help.

No, I don't, I only have 1 account/profile.
 
I also have the issue with black screen & saving data flashing in right bottom corner. I do hope Sony comes with a fix fast !! This is crazy. I too did all the uninstalling & reinstalling, still no success. There is no way i'll be driving from level 1!

SONY ! YOU NEED TO GET A FIX ASAP !!!!

Your save which is not loading and looping was last saved in 2.09 obviously since it saves when you exit the game. (That includes the backup data from what I remember?)

Now if anyone wants to backup there save to a computer so they don,t lose anything first and try this method?

Do an uninstall of the game data and then install back up to 2.08 or earlier, Then stay offline load game, Save there game which would overwrite there previous 2.09 save and then install the rest of the updates.
Once back on 2.10 after that see if you have the loop issue.

I tried that a couple of hours ago on my 2nd PS3, couldn't go online anyway because of network fixing stuff, didn't make a difference. That was using Cargo's save he sent me, figured I would go the extra mile to try and help but didn't. I failed. :(

I have on my car delivery truck.

26 tickets (lv 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 14, 16, 21, 23, 24 ticket 1000, art morrison corvette, ferrari 330 p4, bentley speed 8, peugeot 908, fort GT Lm, Honda civi gathers, camaro z28 rm, lamborghini nomad, nissan r89c and 3 unknown cars that I guess i will be DLC cars no installed yet.

CargoRat, did you delete tickets?
 
Edit: For clarification, I'm talking about:
Saved Data Utility (PS3) > Gran Turismo 5 (Backup)
I'm looking for information on how this backup is created, when, where, why etc.
Is there a way to force it, is it online, or PS3 specific.

Does anyone know how the 'restore file' works?
I have an idea I wanted to try for you Cargo, but I'm unsure if it works the way I hoped.
Is each 'restore file' specific to a PS3, or is this an online backup, that the PSN holds for you, and is available through any PS3 you may be on?
Doing some googling right now to see what I can find about the backup files, but if someone knows offhand I'd appreciate it.

Another census you might want to take Cargo, is what type of PS3 the effected own?
Fat/Slim/SuperSlim and hard drive size etc?

I had no tickets or cars to receive from the truck.

I have 2 accounts with all dlc and family pack both working ok apart from main running slow bit prob more to do with the 1000+ cars and 3000+ paints
 
@zephyrus: No, I did not delete tickets in the delivery truck as I have 376 and that would have taken awhile.

Also, I am using a new (about a month old) super slim which I had to buy due to my slim having issues. (blu-ray reader I believe.)

@Adrenaline: I have no idea how saves are created or whatever else that crazy stuff is you were asking about, lol. Even tho I went to school for computers and networking, my knowledge stops there as far as how the PS3 works in that regard. Maybe some other PS3 geru can help you with those questions.

PSN is down for awhile so I can't even do anymore testing if I wanted too. Just been passing my time with Forza for now and hoping PD comes thru with a patch.

I just realized I'm still on 4.30 and haven't updated to 4.31. I'm guessing that would explain my secondary accounts not logging in to the PS network, with the new version being out there.

So it seems to me the solution is to not update to 4.31 or find a way to downgrade back to 4.30, right?

yep still looping, even i try to overight the new game with my game and still looping :(

Let me check that out. I only had 1 PS3 with the 4.31 update. If other account does not log in, then you are onto something.

*EDIT stupid maintance. Wont let this PS3 log into any account while my other ones are fine.
 
Really Odd.

The PS3 that has 4.31 lets me into the network. The 4.30 wont let me into any account and I thought that was the one I manually updated a few weeks ago?

So now I cant check if 4.30 has issues with secondary accounts till the network is back online for all...or in this case the old primary account.
 
I just logged out and back in again, maintenance hasn't affected me, I must have some magical TARDIS ps3. This is getting more odd by the minute.
