What do you call someone who spontaneously jumps in to defend himself from things he wasn't accused of? Guilty.

Somebody confiscate Cargo's keyboard.

For the last time, I never accused him of anything. He is the one that wrongly assumed that I was talking about him when I gave my opinion of things. He is the one that took it upon himself to post in that thread and assume I was solely talking about him. You know, if you can't comprehend what I say, maybe someone should take away your keyboard.

Yea well, maybe people should hop up off my ass and we wouldn't have this crap now would we? And its posts like yours here that just fans the flames that much more, so there you go.
But I didn't reply to you , I just made a comment, no names mentioned to any any specific post or relevance to any thing in particle. ( Sound familiar ) So why reply to me? STFU YFI

Edit - Can something be done about this please MODS

Its not hard to figure out you were talking to/about me after your past comments about me in the other thread. And your sly little STFU YFI has been reported.

I watched the replay of the current number one on the leader board and noticed a few things about the tune.

Ride Height is slammed, both front and rear. Looks as low as it can go. Sparks fly most of the way around the track.

Camber looks to be at zero all the way around.

I think I see a large amount of toe out in the front.

And a bit of toe in on the rear, but nowhere near the high default number.

Springs/dampers seem to be just below the middle, so medium to soft. It is super hard to tell from the replays, but that's my bet.

ARBs who knows? The car did not lean drastically so I would guess in the 4 to 5 range... maybe higher.

I don't know if I could drive a tune like that.

That sounds like Praiano's tune with the ride height lowered.

But Jogo made the same assumption and he was crucified for it ?
Hm ok for one , but not another , go figure. Its not much fun on here anymore go figure ?

For the last time? Scroll up to see how many more last times there have already been, and then scroll down to see your response to this. You'll never relinquish the last word.

Got a 1.46,8xx with DS3 and !arrow keys! I think that is the best time in Germany with this type of steering and around 5th in world. That car makes really fun to drive and if you can handle this the LMP is yours ^^

@GTP_CargoRatt : I just want to say one thing: You're a good guy, and I know life isn't easy for you. But you need to relax a bit. I agree with you that some 0 ABS drivers pretend they are better than others (@JogoAsobi is not one of them, but you did not say that either, so it's cool) however, those that do think they are better drivers because of it, why not just let them think so? its not hurting you anyway does it?
Another thing you need to work on is the ability to take criticism, something I need to work on as well. In fact, many people do.:)

Thanks for the understanding Elias and for being the voice of reasoning here, appreciate it my friend. 👍 Let me just say one thing here though if I may in my defense. This whole thing started when I replied to another member here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-and-test-drivers.291311/page-25#post-9897975 who also apparently shares the same "elitist" view as I expressed. What irritates me and puzzles me is, why isn't anyone jumping down his throat for having the same view? Not that I want them to or anything, he's a great guy and a good friend, but why am I being the only one crucified for my opinion? That's what really pisses me off in all this. I'm not the one that brought it up, only agreed with and further expressed my opinion. Can you not see my side of things here Elias? Look, I know I caused quite a ruckus in the other Seasonal thread, but I have apologized both privately and publicly for my actions yet there are a certain few that still want to crucify me for any little thing I say now. I'm not perfect, I make mistakes, but I really don't think I deserve to be held "public enemy #1" because of them....do you? I mean, I was everyone's best friend when I was sharing tunes and generally helping people out, but I make one mistake and now I'm the biggest ass on GTP in most people's eyes now. That's what really bothers me. I have a difficult life, you're right. I play GT6 and visit these forums as a way to relax, play with friends and escape the reality of my life, not to be ridiculed because of my mistakes or any opinions I may have. I just want to help people and have fun here, that's all. At any rate, I know people probably could care less about any of this so I'll just end it here. Thanks again Elias for your understanding and advice, it means a lot my friend.

Cargo, I don't think you're being ridiculed or crucified, but you do bring unnecessary attention to yourself by dwelling on minor scuffles and repeatedly defending yourself and promising to "end it here," "for the last time." You could certainly avoid drawing comments from people like myself if you briefly offered your explanation (if needed) and left it at that, never to revisit the issue. But you make yourself an easy mark by replying ad nauseum.

I think most of the top people are using his tune.
You're not wrong there.

I improved from a 1:46.5 to a 1:44.774 which as I type has put me in 15th and 3rd fastest overall DS3 user.

The only limit to going faster is me, I was going absolutely flat out to the end of my limits.

It's one hell of a tune that he's built. 👍

Congrats, that's a massive improvement. Are you going to try and sneak into the top 10?
I could, but honestly I'm happy on where I am as being the fastest Brit with a DS3 currently AND 3rd fastest with a DS3 overall. ;)

Mind you, it's not the first time the 97T and I have done some miracle laps, but it is the first time I've done one with a tune on it. :sly:

@mistersafeway , did you try this one yet? My goal is to stay in the top 50. I'm sure I have half a second in me somewhere so will try it again before the event closes.

Tackled gold with a modified Praiano tune (used what someone posted I think on the second page). Didn't think with nearly max downforce, and barely hitting 200mph out of Eau Rouge and at the end of the straight, that the setup would be fast enough even for Silver.

Was pleasantly surprised. Managed a 1:54.6xx

I do like how user friendly the tune made the car, but at the same time I do enjoy what makes most people hate this car. I like how it feels like a untamable monster. It's not the kind of trait you regularly want with a car, but it is something special. You shouldn't expect an F1 car to be all that easy to master...there's a reason why those who drive them are who they are. Plus, it's a natural thrill to be on the edge instead of comfortably cruising with understeer here and there to keep you put. I too though equally know the frustration this car can produce. Currently sitting with a 1:07.8xx on the Brands Hatch trial....don't know how the @%&$ I'll pull those precious tenths out next time around.

Yes, a little, but this is a terrible track for me to TT on, so I'm unsure if I'll bother completing a lap. I doubt I'll be a match for you if I do. 👍

Just managed a 1:55.5 on my second completed lap :). Lot's of grass excusions aaand that 🤬 clutch... aargh:banghead:

Well, what do you know? I just lowered my previously improved time by one second to 1.48.210. I thought that I had reached my limit last night, but got lucky this evening. :D I'm 350th right now with 10 days left. I wonder if I'll remain in the top 500 when all is said and done. It would blow my mind.

Have many folks nailed this with stock settings? I know it's do-able but just can't nail a great lap, when I do manage to finish one there are at least a couple of places I could've gone a lot faster. Around 1:58.5 was my best, if I remember correctly. May well adjust settings to gold it, then switch back to default, but I am stubborn =)

Oh yeah am running DS3, TCS at 1 and ABS at 1. Usually run TCS at 0, wondering if I am losing out there.
