I'd almost agree with that except for the opinion that Bush is usually the target of criticisms where as M5 was the one targeting criticisms.

I get really ticked off when I get whacked by one of the moderators for doing something that is by no means an Infraction. Some of the moderators on GtPlanet take themselves far too seriously, you cant just tap everyone on the back just so you can feel important. In some cases users will go as far as to toss up vulgar language, racist comments or abuse of any sort, then yes, that gives a moderator a very good reason to ban a given person. But people will be opinionated and defensive, its a forum, people expect to have their say and they dont want to be critcized for their own point of view.

I hate it so bloody much when I'm trying to have my say, my opinion, and someone who thinks they're so special will come along and basically degrade you and tell you that your wrong, thats a stupid point of view, and that you better make better quality posts in the future or you can expect a suspension in the future.

That is complete crap, and when that kind of thing happens, a given persons status as a moderator has to be reviewed, or at least questioned.

I'll start nicely. One, you didn't get whacked with an infraction. It was merely a polite warning, not an infraction. The swear filter is in place for a reason. Attempts to subvert will gain you a PM from a moderator.

You were reprimanded for your attempts to go around the swear filter, you were not reprimanded or whacked for stating your opinion. If a moderator did degrade you, or say "thats a stupid point of view", please drop me a PM with a link, and I'll deal with that. As for the the other two points, "better quality posts" and "tell you that you're wrong", we ask any member providing information or conversation here at GTP to post correct information and in a quality post.

Two, As for the review, every infraction or warning issued, is reviewed by the entire GTP staff when it is issued. Playing staff against each doesn't work, as we all see the work that each other does.
