Nothing more than a fix for Multi-Monitor and online lobby population increase.

But they're actual race tracks, Circuito de la Sierra isn't

It might be one day...
There was a time that Isle of Man wasn't a race-track.
But no doubt some locals decided they needed to see how fast they could get their A-Model Ford around a certain section of road.
Race-Track was born!

Wish there was a chance but Zahara won't be a real track, Isle of Man is only aloud because it started in 1907, doubt a race like that could start again today.

False alarm on the update, weird that they would make 1.11 just a bug fix rather than tacking on to 1.10 like normal.

Now, let me put my speculation pants on.

What if PD added the coding that unlocks the rest of the things added in 1.10 in 1.11? And this update simply permits the unlocking of the content at a certain date, like they did with Goodwood 2014 and GT Academy.

It is a possibility.

A very sound theory, there could be a hot update scheduled for Friday that unlocks the track and/or some VGT cars. (Though, if VGT cars are included, you can expect another 1GiB+ cold update full of HD video, and prepare for the 30+ minute update reheating process)

We won't see it this week but I can't see PD hiding something in the game for a month so I'll go with next week for my prediction on when we'll see it. As for the Alfa VGT (And the forgotten Subaru!), we should see them in v1.11 or with a later update (In August). That's just my prediction anyway!
EDIT- Please do mark my words, I'd love to see if I'm right!
Well that was my prediction but that was disproven. Well here is my new and updated prediction.

Maybe at Gamescom?? Someone know if PD will be here?

PD's been hiding the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs since the games launch basically, either launch or a super early update, and we still haven't heard anything about that.

End of the month as has been the norm for a majority of the bigger/more substantial updates.

^Ice's prediction.

Doubtful. PD doesn't do many gaming events. Instead, they hold their own events themselves. That's not to say that they wouldn't do one that coincides with GC. Just saying that a reveal for updates/DLC @ GC is unlikely.

Gamescom.

What makes you think PD has a format for this sort of thing? We knew about GT5 well in advance because it was a system selling incentive that backed & warranted a PS3 purchase.

GT6 as a follow up holds much less weight than 5 did, & also less than 7 will. They need to build hype for 7 to move PS4's & peak consumer interest.

Competition is fierce & the menu is appetizing. I don't expect them to hold out much longer. There has already been plenty of leaked rumors & info about it. And a reveal doesn't necessarily mean a "tell all". You've seen the Uncharted 4 reveal. It's simply a taste of what's yet to come, and to raise/begin consumer awareness in their product.
Logic.

I'm not suggesting talks of a release date & such. But a reveal would be a wise move on PD's end for numerous reasons. Especially with the catalog of racing games heading our way this 4th quarter/holiday season. PD/GT7 needs to make it's presence felt in a big way before more people run out and purchase the enticing games on offer by the competition, as far less people will get both systems, most will get only one, & many are holding out for this holiday season to make their decision. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony is even "encouraging" PD to do a reveal. Considering their preemptive attack plan this hardware generation.

Remember what happened the last time they hyped a GT game well before its release?

Yeah, people complained, and the game still sold like stink.

People will always complain about something. However, & I will say it again, I'm not suggesting PD starts saying things they're planning or going to do, or making "promises" of included features & things to come. That's not the type of hype I'm talking about. Realistically, they shouldn't say anything at all... Again, look at Uncharted 4. Just a quick teaser, showing what is under the hood, and that's it. We don't even need to see gameplay footage. Just a silhouetted screen shot of the number 7 can get the ball rolling. Something subtle yet charismatic enough to get the crowd on their feet, catch my drift? Maybe just with ONE amazing new feature planned for the game shown in contrast, blurred, or zoomed in as not to fully reveal it all, but enough to make you say... "whoa...". A REVEAL, not a full scale release guys. To get people talking. You know?

I'm placing my bets on a teaser/partial reveal/announcement. If they don't do any of the above, then they need to do some substantial things in 2015 and pray that Drive Club has some serious aces up it's sleeve because not everyone is impressed with it (I am though, I think it will be amazing, actually). At the end of the day, it's really in Sony's hands.
