That's what always happens to me too... but I don't fly out next until the 29th so it better be before then!It will happen when I'm traveling or on vacation.
Go figure.
That's what I always think too but for some reason it never seems to happen, always end up a day off. PD being PD I think Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday have an even chance. That makes sense, I mean, it should be released with new seasonals including the novel VGT and cars added to the game., it should be one with the Toyota VGT and the Nismo
Friday it is
The PS3 hardware can't handle more than 16 at cars at once (it can barely handle that). My guess would be that in this time trial/challenge/rally/thingy the game only renders cars that are within a certain distance ahead/behind you, so at any given time it's only rendering maybe a half dozen cars which falls well within it's limited capabilities. Obviously, this wouldn't be possible for normal circuit racing.
I will be back from vacation on sept 25th.It will happen when I'm traveling or on vacation.
Go figure.
No... February 28th.Because we all wish it was in the game 3 nights ago
Friday it is
Never saw PD say anything about the Redbull track either or at least I recall. Anything is possible.Never saw PD say the track was releasing in February. Never saw PD say next week, either.
In February or January Sony execs I think it was at a round table discussion said the track would be out in February, obviously wasn't. Last week at whatever event PD was at in Japan, where we got all the footage of the FT1 VGT and the Zahara track itself, PD themselves said that the Zahara track, new VGT's, and new dashboard options would come in an update available next week, which is now obviously this week.Never saw PD say the track was releasing in February. Never saw PD say next week, either.
I'm February
If they generally render cars that are far out of view they must be incredibly stupid. There's no reason to do that.
But what should the game over screen be like? Oh wait, I have an idea...
CleverIf anyone would know, it's this guy.
Plot twist: They meant February 2015, they're just bringing it out early.
Friday it is then.
Friday 27th February 2015
I don't think the opponents cars are rendered if they are far outside the player's FOV, but I'd assume that for any part of the track that is rendered, all cars on the currently rendered section of track are rendered to varying LODs, based on how far away they are. It's fine to have 22 or more cars on Zahara because you can be certain that the 22 cars will not all be in view at the same time.If they generally render cars that are far out of view they must be incredibly stupid. I would be loling if it comes out on a Monday despite the speculations of it being either today, tomorrow, or Friday.
I'd give it a wait for next week, but geez don't you get tired of having your hopes crumble?

Now c'mon, we all know they meant the 30th of February 2017Friday February 2015
Well he does a complete lap in the video...

There is no hope. Apparently, a member of GTPlanet said us that the next update is released this week.
But he's the only reporting this news. That's why we doubt it.
One thing is sure: 1.12 arrives this month!
